Intro:

This guide is made for players of all levels, but mainly for mid-lvl players. This will hopefully help you get out of any of the potholes of the game that I have experienced. This guide is based off the knowledge I have learned from people like TMG and Reafi. This is to prepare lower players for the challenges to come.

Goals:

Let’s talk about goals in the game that you can make progress towards:

  1. Finishing the scenario maps
  2. Being able to beat giants, dragons, and/or elemental b10 dungeons
  3. Getting a solid rating in arena (conq rank typically)
  4. Finishing the trial of ascension
  5. Being one of the top arena players

Elemental Dungeons:

There are 5 elemental dungeons; Hall of Fire, Hall of Water, Hall of Wind, Hall of Light, and Hall of Dark. Each day of the week has a specific elemental dungeon except for Friday and Saturday. Sometimes though, Com2us will put out an event that opens all Halls for 3 days.


Sunday is Light

Wednesday is Water

Thursday is Wind

Hall of Heroes & SD’s:

Every Hall has a Secret Dungeon or SD. You find them and all your friends can go into it. If a friend finds one, you and everyone on their friend list can go in, BUT the maximum number of friends in a SD is 10! I’m not going to go over what SD’s there are but you can find easily on a website. SD’s are open for 1 hour. You have to collect 20 pieces for a 2* and 40 for a 3*.

Hall of Heroes or HoH, is a very tough SD that is open for a few days once a month as an EVENT. It has a 4* monster, requiring you to obtain 50 pieces.

EXP Farming:

Just some basic tips for EXP farming are:

  • Use a farmer. (Duh)
  • Use a friend’s monster.
  • Farm as high as you can but still be wise with your Energy.
  • Use Double EXP.
  • I personally, when I have nothing to do, I do the Dimensional Rift.

Places to farm:

  • Chiruka Remains
  • Faimon Volcano (also for Fire Inugami)
  • Mt. White Ragon
  • Tamor Desert (also for Wind Griffon)

ToA (Normal):

So for this topic, I am going to give a brief rundown on the Trial of Ascension.

  • Despair rune any or all AOE (Area of Effect) units that you have.
  • Make sure all Despair units have good Accuracy and are fast.
  • Make sure your support units or every unit is fast.
  • Speed debuffers are amazing in ToA as are Speed buffers.
  • Have a good and fast healer.

Some good monsters for ToA Normal are:

World Boss:

The World Boss is unlocked after completing the Dimensional Rift once. After you beat the World Boss, you get a chest. There are different grade chests based on how much damage you did to it (based off rune quality, level, and elemental advantages). The higher grade of the chest, the better items. Your have to have at least 10 maxed lv30 monsters to fight it.

Dimensional Rift:

After you complete the Scenario, you unlock the Dimensional Rift. The Dimensional Rift has two difficulties. Normal for 20 Energy and Hard for 30 Energy. The Dimensional Rift gives a lot of Mana and EXP, which is useful when having Double EXP or Double Mana (Event Only). Hard gives more Mana and EXP but is harder and isn’t super great for EXP farming for lower level monsters unless you have a Fire Beast Monk (Kumar) or an amazing natural 5*.

Raids:

To be honest, I suck at Raids. But I have gotten a lot better doing the simple things. Raids are in the Rift of Worlds which is unlocked after 1 World Boss fight. Raids consists of three players fighting a three-headed dragon that demolishes everything with debuffs galore. Each person’s leader skill goes for everyone.

Tips for Raids:

Just some basic tips for Raids are:

  • Keep your Resistance and Defense HIGH!
  • Put your tanks or your highest HP monsters up in the front row.
  • Put your support units, healers, main attackers in the back row.
  • Have a Defense or Resistance leader.
  • Be sure to have a cleanser or two

Fusion Hexagram:

My tip, SAVE YOUR FUSION FOOD! When I first started, I remember getting a Fire Magical Archer. I used her to evolve a stupid Wind Low Elemental to 4*. It took me till about Lvl 28 or so to get another one. I also had a friend who had a bunch of Fusion Material but used most of them to evolve his Wind Werewolf and Water Mystic Witch. Always check who you need to fuse who.
