Genshin Impact has two important mechanics regarding your game level: your World Level and your Adventurer Rank. You must increase your Adventure Rank to increase your World Level as well. Therefore, it is vital to keep in mind your Adventure Rank as you progress through the storyline and improve it as much as you can from the beginning.

World Level
First of all, your World Level will increase the level of the enemies you are fighting. As you progress through the story naturally, you will reach the first World tier. However, the next World tier is only available after increasing your Adventure Rank. You must reach Adventure Rank 25 to unlock the second World tier. From this point forward, you will engage in a quest to boost your World tier to the next level.
When you reach the third World tier, a significant change is associated with the reward drops and loot. This reward change changes your ability to progress in Genshin Impact. For example, the World Bosses will begin to drop new gear and loot based on the level.
Electro Hypostasis
The Electro Hypostasis Boss is typically level 37 when you begin playing Genshin Impact, but if you reach Adventure Rank 25, the boss’s level is increased to level 41. This level increase also comes with a change in loot. Before Adventure Rank 25, it would have dropped basic Ascension materials, but upon engaging this quest after AR 25, it will drop the next tier of Ascension materials.
Although you can craft the next with the basic ascension materials, it is better to collect the higher tier materials as loot drops. Remember that Ascension materials are necessary to unlock your character’s next level limit and new abilities.
Raising your Adventure Rank
Complete the Guidebook
As you progress through the storyline, you will receive a guidebook, which essentially informs you of specific missions or mini-quests that you must do. Most of these challenges are simple and depict activities that you would typically do during gameplay, like opening chests, activating teleporters, or visiting the Statue of the Seven. When you complete a chapter, you receive a considerable amount of Adventure experience, which is almost as similar to a full quest, in some cases.
As you complete a chapter from the Guidebook, a new chapter is unlocked, with more challenges to do. The difficulty level increases as you progress through it, but the number of challenges usually remains the same. What makes this method relatively easy is that you can complete these missions through normal gameplay.
Daily Commissions
Commissions are another form of quickly boosting your Adventure Rank. They are small 20 to 30-second missions, like visiting a specific place and opening a chest or killing several enemies. As a reward, you earn gems, which are necessary to perform summons. Additionally, you receive Adventure experience points per daily commission. If you complete them and perform them daily, you receive an additional 500 Adventure points.
Domains
You can farm domains multiple times, and you can earn about 100 points of Adventure experience per domain. However, you require Resin to engage in these domains. Therefore, you must take into consideration your Resin when battling in the domains. Because you have run out, you can either wait for the Resin to recharge, purchase more Resin with Primogems, or use Fragile Resin to recharge it as well.
It is essential to know that you obtain Adventure points when your Resin recharges on its own. Additionally, you should save your Fragile Resin for higher Adventure Ranks because they are quite uncommon in the game. Thus, it is best to purchase Resin with Primogems (you can only do it six times a day) and let it recharge on its own.
Unlockable World Doors
You may have seen some doors present all over Genshin Impact that are not accessible until you have reached a specific Adventure Rank. There are various trials or challenges in some domains that award you with Adventure Ranks. However, they also provide you with a first-time completion bonus, meaning that you can earn from 2000 to 3000 points in a timespan of 30 minutes. Nevertheless, these trials also require Resin to do them. So consider this.
Quests
This is very straightforward. If you see an NPC with a quest available to you, talk to them and complete it to earn Adventure experience points. Some only offer 100 points, while others bestow to you up to 400 points. For this reason, you should aim to do them all, as they will also help you progress through the game.
Character Resonance Effects
You lose a lot of time traversing through the World map of Genshin Impact, which cuts down your gameplay from performing activities to enhance your Adventure Rank. However, you can use your Wind characters to increase your Speed. If you have two Wind characters in your party, you activate the Impetuous Winds effect, which decreases your Stamina usage by 15% and enhances your Movement Speed by 10%.
If you use a character like Venti, you will increase your Stamina while flying, allowing you to fly faster, run quicker, swim further, and increase your leveling process.
