Diluc
Diluc is one of the strongest characters in Genshin Impact, which is why his build includes enhancing his Attack stat to the maximum so he can inflict the highest amount of damage possible. He can generate a lot of damage by using his regular attacks with a sword as his primary weapon. Additionally, he belongs to the Fire subclass. Thus he inflicts Pyro fire damage to your enemies as well.

Weapons
DIluc’s weapon of choice will always be the prototype Animus because it has an Attack percentage built within the weapon. Other weapons have HP and energy recharge, which are helpful but do not boost Diluc’s greatest asset, his Attack stat. The Animus allows you to scale your damage by having a higher Attack stat. Thus, it would help if you always aimed to obtain a Prototype Animus and then invest your time and money to enhance it. You only need to farm ores and crystals in the open world and power it up until you get your hands on a 5-star weapon.
Artifacts
Regarding Artifacts, you will always search for those that provide an Attack, Physical Damage, and Auto-attack boost because Diluc’s top priority is his Attack stat. Most players use the Berserker 2-piece set to increase their critical rate and the Martial Artist Artifact to increase their normal and charged attacks.
You can also use Flowers that provide the biggest boosts. For example, Gladiator’s Nostalgia bestows a lot of HP, but also increase Defense and Attack. Diluc’s second Attack is a Pyro-associated attack that you perform when using the E command on a keyboard. Consider it as a special attack that you have to produce fire damage to your opponents. Overall, the Searing Onslaught is a basic attack that you can do up to three times and enters a cooldown period when you do not use it for a specific period. This Attack’s damage percentage oscillates between 100% to 110%, and its cooldown period lasts 10 seconds.
One of the best ways to utilize this skill and avoid its cooldown period is to alternate an auto-attack with a special attack. In other words, you use his second ability, then perform four normal slashes, and finally use his second Attack once again. Diluc’s final skill is called “Dawn,” which is known as his Ultimate ability. He will summon an entire phoenix of fire that will destroy everything on its path. When you receive the Blessing of the Phoenix at Ascension phase 4, you will produce even more Pyro damage to your enemies with your normal Attack.

Diluc shines once you have some constellations on him. His first constellation will allow him to produce 15% more damage to your enemies if his HP is higher than 50%. His second one will increase his Attack stat and speed. The following constellations will power up his skill and abilities, making him an even stronger character. However, his best constellation is the Flaming Sword, Nemesis of Dark, and one of the hardest to obtain in Genshin Impact. If you are lucky enough to obtain it, Diluc will become an unstoppable machine. It allows you to perform an auto-attack with your E skill. The best team composition is Venti, Dilucm Xiangling, and Barbara.
