Destiny Knights, Awakening material farming guide.
Via Jacks Puzzle.
First things first what IS Jack’s Puzzle?
Jack’s Puzzle is a candy-crush style minigame, the goal of the minigame is to match 4
blocks of the same colour in a square or rectangle shape,
doing so nets you everything inside.
Now what do i mean with “everything inside”?
Take a look at the picture below.

This is the screen you are greeted to when you select “Jack’s Puzzle” from the previous menu, if you look closely you can see awakening materials under the red and blue icons, Festival coins under the Green icon, and finally, Adventure Keys under the Purple Icon.
What does this mean? Well like i said before, by creating a square or rectangle during the minigame you get everything inside the rectangle or square.
The icons here represent What you will recieve for that icon.
For example, lets say you create a square with 10 Red Icons inside it,
what happens is the red icons including the icons you selected to begin with in order to
Create the square or rectangle will dissapear, new icons will fall in their place and
the icons that you have gotten, in this case lets say the four icons you created the square with were also red, in that case 14 Red icons would be added into your reward pile.
Time will also be added to your remaining time, depending on the size of the square.
The minigame starts of with a 30 second timer, so use your time wisely.
The minigame will keep going until you run out of time, occasionally Bombs will appear on the grid, if you do not get rid of them by making a square around them in a certain time frame they will explode Drastically reducing your remaining time.
This is how the grid looks, the places of the icons are always random.
Anyway, you are here to farm awakening materials and not play a minigame, so why do you care about this?
Well, remember how i said the 14 Red icons will be added to your reward pile?
Your reward pile consist Of the items you saw on the screen before starting the minigame.
If you are smart then you already understand, if not then scroll up 2 pictures back and think a bit.
Either you figured it out by yourself (Good job kid) or you simply read ahead, either way.
The Different Icons are linked to the corresponding reward you saw on the screen before. In this case the 14 red icons that you just got in a manner of seconds will
Become 14 tier 3 white awakening materials.
To put it into perspective how much that is, especially as a new player, when farming
The 5th stage of the primal awakening dungeon, that you can only do a limited ammount of 5 times per day i can get 2 tier 3 awakening materials.
And that’s if im lucky, even if you were farming the highest stage 14 is about how much you’d expect.
And that’s in a full day.
And you just got that in seconds, and the minigame barely started.
Do you now understand why you want to do this minigame?
The average rewards for someone absolutely horrible at this game is around 20-30 of each reward per game. Meaning even if you suck at this, you would still make about 2 days worth of farming the highest awakening dungeon, in 1 minute or less.
And that’s if you only do this once.
However not everything is sunshine and rainbows, sure there is no technical limit to
how many times you can do this puzzle, however there is a limit.
Gold.
You see the first entry each day is free, and it slowly increases, 4k, 8k, 16k, 32k etc…
And that’s not the only problem, you won’t always be lucky enough to already have
Tier 3 awakening materials in your reward lineup, its very rare.
Thus you will have to reroll, or specifically “Mix Puzzle Pieces”
I highlied it in Blue so you should be able to see it if you posses half a brain.
As you can see, it costs 7000 gold.
The price doesn’t however go up, however you should expect to have to spend at least
100-200k gold each time in order to get a Tier 3 awakening material to show up.
It is Well Worth it however, as you’ll be able to awaken tens of units just from one run of each awakening element.
Now, I’ve said “Tier 3 awakening materials” a lot by now but what do i mean by that exactly?
What i mean by “Tier 3 awakening materials” is the third tier of awakening materials.
Duh.

Ah, look at how beautifully i have highlighed these Tier 3 awakening materials.
Stunning isn’t it?
Anyhow, this is what you are looking for in your reward’s line up, to refresh your memory this is what your reward line up is.
Also, as you can see in the picture with the Tier 3 awakening materials above, you can also Dismantle the Tier 3 awakening materials into lower tiers.
Thats the main reason you want Tier 3 awakening materials, as 1 of them dismantles into 10 tier 2, and 10 tier 2 dismante into 200 tier 1.
Do you now see how amazing this is?
Well, there you go buds, That’s about it.
Tl;dr:
Refresh the rewards line up until you get Tier 3 awakening materials in it.
Play the minigame as best you can.
Repeat.
That’s it, 3 simple steps! And the better you are in this minigame the more rewards you will recieve.
How much gold you want to spend is up to you, however i find that,
Getting the entry fee up to 60k is the best if you are in dire need of materials, anything past that is a bit too expensive for me personally, Gold is a limited resource.
After the initial achievement spam gold isnt all that easy to aquire, at least not in the millions. the cost refreshes daily, the same time other dailies refresh, so dont force yourself to blow all your gold in 1 day. Well, i’ll just leave a picture of what you should generally expect when doing the minigame.
