Kings Raid Tank Stats Guide

Tank Stats

Much like characters, monsters in this game are capable of dealing two different damage types. Most of them only deal 1 damage type. For example, Mountain Fortress (or WB1 as it’s called by the community) only does physical damage. That said, there are monsters and bosses that deal both damage types, such as Xanadus (or WB3). A stage in story mode is also not guaranteed to have monsters of all the same damage type.

Therefore:

There are two ways to build tanks

  1. Generic, where you aim to mitigate both damage types. Useful for going through story and dragon where both damage types are usually present.
  2. Specialized, where you aim to mitigate only one damage type. Useful for fighting bosses that only deal one damage type. Usually takes two times the amount of work because you want to have an armor set for each damage type.

The page below break down what these sets might look like.

Keep in mind that these are loose guidelines to follow. Depending on the tank you may be using, they may require slightly different builds because their skill set functions better or worse with certain stats.

For example: Glenwys’ T5D perk increases team attack based on her defense so she wants to build more defense than normal.

Another example: Loman’s T5D perk increases team magic defense based on his own magic defense upon block. So he benefits from having more m.def. He also benefits from having less magic dodge as he wants to block attacks at least once every 5 seconds instead of dodging them.

A Note about Block and Dodge

Both the block and dodge stats are chance based stats. Working on them will improve your overall survivability, but all it takes is one strong hit and bad rng to suffer a fatal blow. If you know the fight you’re in has single strong hits instead of multiple hits, consider replacing the block and dodge stats in the below stat distributions with more hp and defense.

Generic

Stat overview

~500 p.block

~500 m.block

~500 p.dodge

~500 m.dodge

Enough mana/atk and atk spd such that the tank has no mana problems

The rest of the lines should be spent primarily on hp.

Defense lines are fine too but Hp should be prioritized.

Example: Phillop using a generic tanking set

Specialized

Stat overview

500-1000 block of the specified damage type

225 block def of the specified damage type IF block is significantly higher than 500

500 dodge of the specified damage type

Enough mana/atk and atk spd such that the tank has no mana problems

The rest of the lines should be spent on defense of the specified damage type and hp

Defense lines should be prioritized over hp and should exceed hp lines by 2 ideally

Example: Loman using a magic damage mitigation set.
Note: Loman wants to block skills so his m.dodge is purposely lower than it’s supposed to be. He also wants a lot of magic defense to transfer to his teammates via T5D.
