Players can send out characters that they are not using to the world on so-called “expeditions.” These characters are then able to bring back either materials or Mora as a reward.
How To Get Started With Expeditions
After reaching adventurer rank level 14, players can proceed to the adventurer’s guild receptionist and select the option, dispatch a character on an expedition. Once there, you have to decide on three major things: character, location, length.
Depending on your adventurer levels, you can only spend a specific number of expeditions at a time. These, of course, increase the higher your levels are.
The breakdown is at level 14 – 2 expeditions, level 26 – 3 expeditions, level 31 – 4 expeditions, and level 36 – 5 expeditions.
Character
It is important to note that a character you send out on an expedition cannot be used in your current party. This might become an issue, especially if you send out one character. You might need to progress further in a quest. Some characters also have bonuses when you use them on an expedition. Always consider these when choosing who you send out.
Location
When selecting an area where you want to send your character, you can see the specific area’s rewards. You can choose among the different areas and pick which one would give you whatever you may need.
Rewards vary from other materials or sometimes even Mora.
Length
Finally, you will need to decide how long you want to send out your characters. The options are either 4, 8, 12, or 20 hour long expeditions. These are human hours, so plan accordingly. Naturally speaking, the longer the hours spent on an expedition, the more rewards you will obtain after.
Expeditions are a good source or rewards, and Mora should entice you to utilize them as often as possible.
