Toast Event Quick Guide

General:

It is a restaurant event where you choose a cuisine (recommended to do the one with most dishes raised) and will receive a set of challenges with certain criteria for each map. During this event you have to present a dish that meets the judge’s requirement to get points and ultimately receive medals for toast

  • Three basic criteria: Type, Stat requirement, and Ingredients
    • Type refers to the type of food(snack, main dish, rice, etc)
    • Stat requirement means your dish has to have one stat high enough level(taste 647, appearance 372 etc)
    • Ingredients describe each of the ingredients used to make or develop the dish (Grain product, meat, seafood, etc)
  • Sometimes multiple dishes can be interchangeable due to having the same category, main stat, and ingredients
    • The dishes that are interchangeable for each Cuisine are:
    • Gloriville:
      • Roast Chicken** (Do this one)
      • Roast Beef
      • Crispy Pork
    • Light Kingdom:
      • Emerald Roll** (Do this one)
      • Braised Eggplant
    • Sakurajima:
      • Crab Sashimi**(Do this one)
      • Salmon Sashimi
    • The reason why you should raise the stared ones is that in the end the required stat for these dishes may be higher than the maxed stat of the dish if you don’t choose the starred on. So choose the starred one.
  • Every food appears around 5 times, and each time the requirement for its main stat will increase

How maps work:

  • This event is divided into 4 campaigns, one for each of the cuisines. Each campaign is then divided into maps. The maps are then divided into 6 challenges
    • 15 Maps per Campaign
  • Each challenge may ask for two or one dish
  • Challenges on the same map may be done in any order
  • Maps must be done in order

The Judges:

Score:

  • If your food type is wrong, you will be unable to achieve most of the points (like I=if they ask for Street food but you gave them a main dish)
  • Using wrong ingredients also causes you to lose points (They may say they want vegetables for example)
  • The moods of the judges will also impact the score, as they become “Angry” towards the end levels. Some R souls have a skill that cheers them up
    • When they are angry, your score will START in the negatives
  • Getting over 90 points earns you 3 medals, 80 points 2 medals, and 60 points 1 medal
  • If your restaurants appearance points are high enough, you can earn 10 extra points

Challenges:

  • Once you unlock a map, you can do any of the 6 challenges, but you can’t move to the next area until you earned all the medals in the set
  • There will be a timer before you can challenge a level again if you earned less than 90 points. There is also a skill for R souls that can reduce this time

Restaurant Food Soul Skills:

  • Killing Time:
    • Reduces wait time for re-challenging a level to try to get three star if you didn’t do it the first time
    • Mostly unnecessary since you can just wait until you can for sure have over 90 points to challenge the level
    • Food Souls: Spicy Gluten, Sashimi, Sake, Macaron
    • Completely pointless, disregard this skill
  • Appealing to their preference:
    • Improves judge mood
    • Useful in later levels when the judges are angry
    • Does not improve moods segmentally, but a certain level of this skill can change the mood from angry(negative starting score) straight to happy(positive starting score)

When you need this skill:

  • Maps 1-5 don’t need this skill
  • Maps 6-9 need level 4
  • Maps 10-12 need  level 7
  • Maps 13-15 need level 10
  • Food Souls: Zongzi, Cold Shrimp, Sakuramochi, Taiyaki
  • Can level up at later levels when it’s needed
  • Not completely necessary if you have all the stats fit the requirement since you can still get 3-star regardless of judge mood, but this can be used to save stamina
  • Flavour/Aroma/Texture/Appearance Up:
    • Improves matching Stats on all competing food
    • Can save stamina as you won’t need to farm up the stats
    • Recommended level 10, upgrade as you go
    • Food Souls:
      • Flavour: Cold Shrimp, Spicy Gluten
      • Aroma: Zongzi, Sake
      • Texture: Sakuramochi, Sashimi
      • Appearance: Taiyaki, Macaron
    • Recommended level up Aroma and Texture souls first, as the other stats can be easily improved with the use of food seasoning, but these stats take a lot more resources

Restaurant Appearance:

  • If your restaurant appearance is higher than a certain threshold, you will start with 10 extra points

How much appearance you need for each Map:

  • Maps 1-2 need 500
  • Maps 3-4 need 600
  •  Maps 5-6 need 700
  • Maps 7-8 need 900
  • Maps 9-10 need 1100
  • Maps 11-12 need 1400
  • Maps 13-15 need 1700
  • Delivery events where items are rewarded for each delivery then exchanged for decorations are a good place to farm some appearance

Acquiring Toast:

  • Just getting Toast should be easy as long as you have all the recipes in all cuisine (Gloriville, Light kingdom, Sakurajima and Lost cuisine)
    • The 150 stars needed for Toast can be achieved by completing the first 2 maps of each campaign
  • Ascending is much harder though as you have to basically complete all the Maps and the later levels basically require S-level foods, god-tier restaurant appearance, and Level 10 on Pleasing Judges and Stat up

How to ascend Toast:

  • 270 stars – 1* Toast
  • 500 stars – 2* Toast
  • 700 stars – 3* Toast
  • 900 stars – 4* Toast
  • 1000 stars 5* Toast < aka 14 maps of every cuisine .___. (almost every single dish S rank)
    • Tip for ranking up dishes: always buy seasoning for dishes in the market and add it to dishes for airship, deliveries or feeding foods
      • This is especially important for taste/appearance foods. Foods with texture/aroma can’t benefit from seasonings as much so just raise the Stat up skills

How to use this wiki:

1.Google translate it

2. Scroll down and pick your cuisine

3. When you get to the list of of foods, just know the google translate screws up the translation, so if you see “taste” it’s either texture or flavor, whichever one is the food item’s best stat.
