Starting info:

So this is my first time writing something like this, if you have any questions about the tier list, ask TeaZzen#8122 for more information. In this guide, all numbers are taken from the unit when they are mlb in the album. This guide also assumes that all units are mlb (or of the same limit break). For more information about when you should use a unit based on your unit’s limit break, hop into the Danmemo Reddit Discord (who’s link is found in the useful links section) and come ask us.

Who am I:

I will not mention who I am, since I know people will disregard this guide if people know who I am. All I will mention is that I am competing for top 50 in record buster and I have been in a top 10 ranked familia since the creation of familias (Essentially, I’m Renpai/RenDude36).

Tier Lists (These will be updated later, yes things will drop in the tier list):

ADVENTURERS:

Non TL Adv:

SS Tier:

WG:

[Black Fist] Lunor Faust (Ascendable)

Lunor is currently the only non time limited adv to be ranked ss for physical(phys) war game teams. At max limit break(mlb), her decently high agi stat of 817 gives her a higher chance of attack first after all buffs and fast multiplier attacks have gone. In conjunction to her area of effect (aoe) attack that lowers foes’ agi, she can ensure that your war games team will attack before the opponent, allowing you to wipe the opponent’s front line before they even have the chance to attack. Pair her with a strength buffer like Artemis (will be discussed later) and other phys attackers for maximum effect.

[Elf’s Honor] Lefiya Viridis (Ascendable)

Honor Lef is an amazing mag attacker. Her s3 is a fast aoe attack that hits like a truck (she will isekai the enemy). Additionally, her s3 can also lower enemies magic resist (mag resist) by 10%, meaning she can make CT Ais hit her full dmg on turn 1. Furthermore, Honor Lef can also work super well with a Fina front line rush, as she can be buffed with Reindeer Hestia and buff Fina’s dmg with her S3. Pair Honor Lef with other fast mag attackers for maximum effect.

[Crimson Tempest] Ais Wallenstein (Not Ascendable)

CT ais has one of the best aoe magic hitting skills in the game. Her skill 3 (s3) (Blast of Pain) can do significant amounts of dmg. Paired up with Honor Lefiya and an assist that lowers enemy’s magic resistance (by probably 15%), CT ais’ s3 can hit for a crazy amount of dmg in war games. The highest I hit against a full mlb team was 5k dmg, which is enough to one shot people after Honor Lef fast aoe (skill 3). Pair Ais up with a magic buffer and Honor lef for maximum effect. Even without being on a team with Honor lef, her skill 1(s1) lowers foes magic resistance by 25%, allowing for other magic attackers to do massive damage. Her skill 1 also does a good amount of dmg, so it’s nothing to underestimate even if she isn’t one shotting the opponent.

[Dressed Royal] Riveria Ljos Alf (Ascendable)

I’m calling her Elf Riv, but most people refer to her as just riv since the other Riveria are not amazing. Elf Riv allowed for magic teams to defeat stall teams in war games(wg), which used to have no counters. Her s3 has ultra unguard rate, allowing for Elf Riv to two shot stall teams, who relied heavily on guards(and they would guard nearly every attack) to allow them to outheal the dmg taken. With the addition of Bride Lili, Elf Riv now beats stall ~80-90% of the time, and can beat phys rush teams (teams that use physical aoe units and Artemis to try and kill the opponent before they get to attack) given you have mlb Detective Chloe assist (which nullifies 2 phys attacks).

[Virgin Goddess] Artemis (Not Ascendable)

I have mentioned her previously, but she is by far the best strength buffer in the game. Her strength buff also buffs counter rate, allowing for the actual dps advs to counter and kill the enemy off if they do not die to the initial burst. She also boasts two great aoe attacks, one that removes mag buffs from the enemy, and one that has ultra unguard rate, making her a great attacker as well if the battle goes past turn 1.

WG and RB:

[Roaring Gale] Ryu Lion (Not Ascendable)

Movie Ryuu (yes, I add a second u to Ryuu’s name. Fight me) is the best debuffer for aoe fights. Her s1 is a fast -35% str and mag debuff to enemies, allowing her to do well against both phys attacking enemies and mag attacking enemies. She also has a counter passive that reduces the enemy (that she countered)’s str and mag by 45% for 2 turns. In conjunction with her s2 which increases status debuffs of the enemy by an extra turn, she can keep up these debuffs for the entire fight. Additionally, she can also keep up debuffs from other advs too, which allows you to keep up debuffs from sacs indefinitely (until she runs out of mp). Also breaks one stack of detective chloe, allowing for the hard hitting units to deal dmg to the enemy.

RB:

[Knight Elf] Ryu Lion (Not Ascendable)

Knight Ryuu. So Knight Ryuu is a fun unit. Double buffs gives her an incredible +135% dmg increase. Additionally, her s3 lowers the foe’s phys resist by 20%. As she is purely single target(st), she excels in record buster(rb). Pair her with other single target phys units for maximum effect.

[Echoing Arrow] Liliruca Arde (Not Ascendable)

Movie Lili. Amazing st phys unit. While she does not have +135% dmg increase(it’s only 95%), her s1 increases foe’s dmg taken by st attacks by 15%. This means that all st attackers’ attacks deal an extra 15% dmg, which is significant when you consider Cosplay Ryuu. Again, pair her with other phys st units (Knight Ryuu) for maximum effect.

[Passionately Postal] Tione Hiryute (Ascendable)

I’m adding Bride Tione to the SS tier. I think the other veterans would agree with me on this decision. Bride Tione has a +100% dmg increase on a single skill, which means she can hit her highest dmg faster than both Movie Lili and Knight Ryuu; however, without any temp str boosts on her skills, she will do slightly less dmg than both of the prior advs mentioned. What makes her stand out is her skill 3 and her special action (SA). Tione’s s3 removes str buffs from the enemy, which is essential in the new Revis rb. I guess I should mention her s2, which is an aoe dmg reduction, reducing dmg taken by aoe attacks for all allies. It helps with survivability if you have troubles. Tione’s main damaging skill is her SA. Tione’s SA is by far the strongest SA we have in the game. The dmg is increased based on the number of str buffs she has, which should also be 2 (one from her, and one from an assist skill). This boosts her SA dmg by 100%. This makes up for both her lowered % increased dmg from buffs and the fact that there is no temp str boost on the skill. If you want more proof, I currently hold the highest no killer dmg in the game for global at 1.1mill dmg with Tione SA. Pair her up with other phys st attackers (aka Movie Lili and Knight Ryuu) for maximum effect.

Note, she is best against Revis rb. Replace her with Mikasa (discussed later) since Mikasa removes mag buffs for Riv rb. Tione in Riv rb should be placed in S tier due to her being outshone by Knight Ryuu.

[Gallant Fighter] Chloe Lolo (Ascendable)

Magic version of Movie Lili (or Movie Lili is a phys version of this chloe). Detective Chloe is in ss tier due to the reasons mentioned in the section of Movie Lili. Additionally, she has added synergy with a certain clumsy cat (Xmas Anya who will be covered in the TL section) to boost her dmg output. Easily one of the best st mag units in the game. Pair her up with Xmas Anya and other st mag attackers for maximum efficiency.

[Faithful Mage] Line Arshe (Not Ascendable)

Line (pronounced Li-ne, but I just say line) is the best support rb unit we have gotten to date. Her s1 is a debuff to an enemy’s str and mag by 40%, removing the need for another debuffer on your rb team. Additionally, she has a heal that also boosts the teams counter rate by 30% for 2 turns. The extra counters boost the dmg dealt in rb, leading to a higher score (this dmg is increased my Detective Chloe and Movie Lili debuff). This skill also allows Line to act as a healer. Thus, by being a healer and a debuffer, you can run three st attackers without much worry of dying. If that wasn’t enough to make her SS tier, her s3 also increases SA gauge gain of all allies. This essentially means you charge the SA gauge faster, allowing you to use more than 4 SA in a fight. Do I need to give anymore reason why she’s good? Include her in every rb team as the healer and debuffer role. Note, she is only single target, so she isn’t good in aoe content.

S Tier:

WG:

[Moonlight Oath] Bell Cranel (Ascendable)

Movie Bell. Fun unit for wg. With a high agi stat of 820 at mlb he can hit hard and wipe teams with his crazy str stat of 1542. Additionally, his aoe attack has a chance to stun, which can be the reason why you win. He is used on phys rush wg teams, but has also been seen on some top level ailment teams in jp. Great unit overall.

[Crimson Dress] Tione Hiryute (Ascendable)

CD Tione is a pretty monstrous adv. Her s3 is her main damaging skill, which dmg can be increased based on the number of str and regen buffs she has. With a str buffer like Artemis, Tione’s s3 can have a 50% increased dmg, and it can realistically go up to 75% with the addition of a regen assist like Halloween Riv. Pair her with phys units for wg to create a terrifying team.

[Mighty King] Ottarl (Ascendable)

Biggest disappointment in my life(wish I was lying). Movie Ottarl was designed to kill stall teams, yet his unreliable defenses, paired with his terrible agi stat makes him a liability in most match ups. Additionally, his s1, whis is meant to kill stall teams, does not do much dmg as it does not have temp str boost. For those reasons, Ottarl is not in SS tier. However, if he does manage to get his attack off, he will almost absolutely kill (against non stall teams) as he boasts the highest base str stat in the game at 1580. While no temp str boost hurts, against non stall teams, his high base str stat will be enough to half shot most teams. Pair him up with other phys units and Artemis for maximum effect.

[Honor Succession] Bell Cranel (Ascendable)

Honor Bell is a favourite of mine. Preferences aside, Bell was released during 1st anni, so his base str stat is quite low. However, Hestia Knife makes up for the lack in base str so it’s all good. Additionally, his s3 lowers foes’ phys resist by 10%. While it isn’t that high, 798 agi does make it so that he will go first or second, allowing for the later attacks to hit slightly harder (sometimes it’s overkill, other times its needed). Additionally, his SA is a magic attack. While it does mean it doesn’t get its dmg increased by the -phys resist, it allows Bell to bypass the teams who’s goal is to boost phys resist up to counter phys teams. Bell is best when paired with other phys units and Artemis, but a more stally team with Bell can also be viable if done correctly.

[Longing Bride] Liliruca Arde (Ascendable)

So the sirens are getting louder as I write this. I put Bride Lili in S tier, even though people probably would put her in SS tier. The reason why Bride Lili in S tier and not SS tier is because the other mag aoe attackers already did really well, and Lili only makes it more consistent. She is better than other mag attackers in the sense that her s2 quite literally kills stall, but Elf Riv already killed stall, so this just adds salt to the wound.and while Lili boasts the highest agi stat in the game at 898, she does not always go before the other attackers on her team, thus there is a chance that they do not get her buff. And if the mag attackers are not water based, then it is better off using a +45% mag buffer. Pair her with Elf Riv for maximum effect, and I guess CT Ais.

[Smithy Expert] Welf Crozzo (Ascendable)

Movie welf is one of the most obnoxious wg units you can have. His s1 makes it so that your team will always guard the enemy attack, thus stalling out the match.to make matters worse, his s2 makes it so that any attack that would be fatal while you are above 10% hp will leave you at 1. This is applied to all allies. This makes stall teams even harder to kill since with all the healing they have (they can heal half their hp per turn -_-) and all the dmg reduction, they can keep this buff up forever, making them unkillable. Use him on stall teams, or pseudo stall teams for maximum effects. What is a pseudo stall team you ask? Well, it’s a term I just made up. It refers to a team that is aiming to buff up with its dmg dealing adv, but the rest of the advs are there to stall out the match. It’s different to stall teams since Raul ( the dmg dealer in stall teams) also has buffs to reduce the dmg taken by enemies, so all 4 units in a stall team are meant to make your life miserable

[Gorgeous Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Not Ascendable)

Surprise, Amazon Ais is actually decent. The main reason for this is because of her s2, which is a str buff to all allies. Needless to say, she is a budget version of Artemis. Use this Ais only if you are making a phys rush team and you do not have Artemis.

[Blustering Beauty] Tiona Hiryute (Ascendable)

First Tiona on this list. Okay so NY Tiona is like Movie Welf. She is meant for stall teams her s1 and s2 are meant to reduce dmg taken, and she is just a staple in stall teams. Pair her with the other stall team members for the maximum effect. She is also a great defensive adv, so use her to keep your dmg dealers alive longer and kill the enemy on sequential turns if you can not make a stall team.

[Holy White Royal] Riveria Ljos Alf (Not Ascendable)

Pre 1st anni Riv. I’m just gonna call her Anni Riv cause why not. So Anni riv buffs mag by +45%. Main reason why you use her. Other than that, she does have a fast attacking skill with a 15% chance to stun, which is quite nice. Use her only on mag teams, she sucks anywhere else.

[Fushi-kaden] Hitachi Chigusa (Not Ascendable)

Hakama Chigusa (I’m just gonna call her Yukata Chigusa) has the same role as Gorgeous Princess Ais. Str buffer, but also a healer. Not as good as Artemis, but better than Gorgeous Princess Ais. Use only in a phys rush team. Note, her SA is the only skill in global that charms, even if it never actually goes off, if it does and charms someone, its game winning.

WG and RB:

[Gale Disguised] Ryu Lion (Ascendable)

Reverse Trap Ryuu. So GD Ryuu is the mag version of Movie Ryuu, but weaker. Mainly used in wg nowadays on mag focused teams to allow the heavy hitting mag attackers to survive long enough to get their dmg off. She does some repectible dmg in wg, so don’t just pass on her. Pair her with mag units to maximum effect.

[Almighty Fighter] Asfi Al Andromeda (Not Ascendable)

Great support unit. Asfi (since no other asfi is good) is a healer that reduces aoe dmg taken by all allies. Like Line, Asfi’s heal also gives a +30% counter buff. Asfi is best used when paired with a unit that can also reduce str and mag of enemies. Pair her with Movie Ryuu in wg and HP Ais (discussed later) in rb (when rb is phys biased) for maximum effect. Replaced in rb by Line.

RB:

[Brave Swordsman] Finn Deimne (Not Ascendable)

Pretty powercrept to be perfectly honest. However, Brave Finn is a solid st phys attacker with his +75% str boost and his s1. If you don’t own any of the SS tier rb phys units, Brave Finn definitely should be on your phys rb team. Replaced by any SS tier phys rb units, as well as HP Ais who will be discussed later. Pair him with other phys st units and a debuffer/healer (aka line) for maximum effect.

[Honor Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Ascendable)

HP Ais is slightly above S tier, but just doesn’t quite have what it takes to be in SS tier. HP Ais doesn’t have the dmg to be in SS tier, but her utility mixed with her good st skills makes her a strong st phys adv. Use her against bosses who deal phys attacks for maximum effect. Replaced by Knight Ryuu primarily, but also replaced by all SS phys st advs. Pair her with Asfi for maximum survivability against phys enemies. And also use her on a phys st team for maximum effect.

[Lovely Travel] Liliruca Arde (Not Ascendable)

LT Lili got a buff that makes a good st mag adv. She is essentially a HP Ais without her -str skill. The reason why she is S tier and not SS tier like Detective Chloe is because her self buff is a +70% light dmg buff, which does not stack with Line’s +65% light dmg buff from her SA, resulting in a lower SA dmg in a 4 combo SA. Pair her with other light mag st advs such as NY Tione (will be discussed later) and Line for maximum effect.

[Blushing Peony] Tione Hiryute (Not Ascendable)

NY Tione is a fun unit to use. Her s2 allows you to achieve 5 (potentially 6) SA in rb. Additionally, her s3 synergizes well with st light teams. With a similar problem to that of LT Lili, her self buff is a +75% light dmg buff, causing her buff to not stack with Line’s SA. Pair her with other st light mag advs + Line for maximum effect.

[Casino Lady] Shakti Varma (Ascendable)

Casino Shakti is a great unit at stopping phys attackers. To be honest, I should have put her in the section of both RB and WG. Her s1 and s2 makes phys attacks deal little to no dmg, allowing you to potentially run no healers in rb and rely solely on hp regen from assists. Use her only against phys enemies for maximum effect. Goes well in any team that needs a phys debuffer.

[Brave Fighter] Anya Fromel (Not Ascendable)

Detective Anya is quite literally Casino Shakti but for magic attacking enemies. Same idea as Casino Shakti. Just read the little tipbit about Casino Shakti but replace all phys with mag.

[Medicinal Archer] Naza Ersuisu (Not Ascendable)

Naza is a more offensive version of Detective Anya. Increasing counter rate instead of guard rate, and lowering enemies guard rate instead of crit rate. Naza is used for more dmg and when the added survivability from Detective Anya is overkill. Idea is still the same as Detective Anya, so she should only go against mag attacking enemies for maximum effect.

A Tier:

WG:

[Sparkle Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Not Ascendable)

SP Ais got heavily powercrept. She is still a decent phys wg adv and can still be used if you have nothing better. Replaced by any phys aoe adv in S or SS tier. Pair with a str buffer and a phys team for maximum effect.

[Elven Awakening] Lefiya Viridis (Not Ascendable)

EA Lef (aka Armpit Lef) is in a similar state to that of SP Ais. Only use her on a mag wg team if you have nothing better to use. Heavily outclassed by the mag aoe attackers in S and SS tier. Pair her with a mag buffer and other mag aoe advs for maximum effect.

[Twinkle Stream] Tione Hiryute (Not Ascendable)

With the addition of Revis rb, Dancer Tione can also probably be used in Revis rb as her can remove str buffs from Revis, and she also increases phys resistance and agi by 30%. Her s2 is a great counter to phys teams as it not only reduces the dmg taken, but also increases agi of your team, allowing you to hit before the enemy. Overall, it is best to use another phys attacker in wg than Dancer Tione. Pair her with a debuffer and attackers in wg, and Line in Revis rb for maximum effect.

[Amber Sunflower] Tiona Hiryute (Not Ascendable)

Will not lie, I got no idea about AS Tiona. AS Tiona’s s1 is great at countering ailment teams, and her s2 can potentially kill stall teams, but she is not fast enough, with only 482 agi, and she also lacks dmg with a base str stat of 1101. Overall, it is better to replace AS Tiona with better phys aoe attackers in S and SS tier. Pair her with offensive units (pref phys) and Artemis for the maximum effect.

[Secret Onsen] Hitachi Chigusa (Not Ascendable)

Why is she in A tier? She is flat out a counter to Raul, but is only good against Raul teams (aka stall). She will probably drop in the tier list as stall slowly dies out. But she also has a -25% phys resist to all enemies on her s1, so she isn’t worthless when not against a stall team. Really only use her when stall teams are running rampant in wg.

[Gale] Ryu Lion (Ascendable)

OG Ryuu. Only reason to use her is for her mag buff. While her buff is only a +30% to mag, she also gives a +30% agi buff to all allies, allowing them to potentially go before the enemy. Pair her with mag aoe attackers for maximum effect. Replaced by Anni Riv since the extra agi won’t really matter to mag attackers.

WG and RG:

[White Flash] Anakitty Autumn (Not Ascendable)

Best catgirl. Anakitty is a debuffer that debuffs both str and mag by 35%. Her low agi (486) and her lack of a self buff makes her a budget pick in both wg and rb. Easily replaced by better options. Pair her with other phys attackers (aoe in wg, and st in rb) and a healer for rb for maximum effect. Also great on water teams (but I’m the only one who even cares for water units).

[Geisha Elf] Lefiya Viridis (Ascendable)

NY Lef is in the rb and wg section evne though she is solely an aoe attacker. Her double self buffs allow her to hit hard, even against st stages. Her s3 has a 40% chance to apply a slow to enemies which can win games in wg, but her lackluster end (387) followed by her slow set up makes her a liability in wg for the most part. Replace her with other mag attacking advs in S or SS tier for their respective categories (wg or rb).Pair her with other mag attackers and a debuffer/healer (in rb) or a mag buffer (in wg) for maximum effect.

[Enjoy Onsen] Liliruca Arde (Not Ascendable)

Onsen Lili is an earth mag attacker, that can attack both st and aoe. There isn’t much earth aoe mag attackers, so she is easily replaced in wg for other S or SS tier mag advs. For rb, Lili has some synergy with Detective Chloe, but is outclassed by Xmas Anya (who will be discussed later). Pair her with a mag buffer in wg, or an earth team in rb for maximum effect.

[Cute Elf] Filvis Challia (Not Ascendable)

Thunder version of Onsen Lili. Halloween Raul’s (will be discussed later) (All Raul mentions prior are referring to Halloween Raul) support only essentially. Read the little tipbit on Onsen Lili for details, but replace earth with Thunder. Pair her with Raul in wg for a Raul buster team, Movie Lili in rb for maximum effect. Yes, you’ll be running a somewhat mixed team in rb, deal with it.

[Blessed Elf] Filvis Challia (Ascendable)

Healer Filvis is an interesting adv. Her heal removes mag debuffs on allies, while her s1 increases wind and water dmg, while removing ailments from the team. Can be used in a wind/water team in wg for maximum effect. Similarly for rb, use her with a wind/water team. Her only attacking skill is also a st attacking skill, so she is more suited for rb than wg. Pair her with wind/water adv for maximum effect.

[Bathroom Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Not Ascendable)

A more supportive CT Ais. Instead of huge burst dmg, BP Ais focuses more on support. While her s1 reduces enemies heal and mag resist by 25% (which is the highest -mag resist in the game at the moment), her terrible mag stat of 1219 means she doesn’t do much dmg. However, BP Ais’ s3 gives all allies +40% phys resist, meaning she is good against phys enemies. Replace her with CT Ais primarily in wg, but any S or SS tier mag attacker in general for wg. Replace her for any S or SS tier mag adv for RB if you have no troubles surviving against the phys rb.

B Tier:

WG:

[Black Cat] Chloe Lolo (Not Ascendable)

Poison meme. BC Chloe (or OG Chloe) does not have the stats to really justify using. She does pair well with other dark units, so she is at least useable in wg. Replace her with any phys aoe adv in the higher tiers. Pair her with dark phys advs like Lunor, and str buffer like Artemis for maximum effect.

[Onsen Princess] Asfi Al Andromeda (Not Ascendable)

Decent agi stat (801) allows her to get off her str and mag debuff of 20% off early in the fight (hopefully before the enemy moves). Replace her with any phys aoe adv in the higher tiers. Pair her with a str buffer and other phys aoe attackers for maximum effect.

[Thunderous Perseus] Asfi Al Andromeda (Ascendable)

Unreliable. Movie Asfi has a skill to kill magic teams, but it only has a 35% chance to block a magic attack. This unreliability in conjunction with her crappy stats make her not worth using. Replace her with any other phys unit in higher tiers. Pair her with a str buffer and other phys aoe attackers for maximum effect. Also best used when magic teams run rampant, and potentially stall teams too.

[Superior Reign] Ottarl (Not Ascendable)

SR Ottarl unfortunately got powercrept just like SP Ais. His disappointing agi stat of 768 makes him a subpar pick in phys rush teams. Replace him with any phys aoe unit in the higher tiers. Pair him with a str buffer and other phys aoe attackers for maximum effect. The one thing going for SR Ottarl is that his s2 has a chance of slowing, which can be game changing in wg.

[King] Ottarl (Not Ascendable)

Ottarl (OG Ottarl) literally got powercrept to oblivion. However, he does do more dmg than SR Ottarl, but does not have the added secondary effects on his skills. Replace him with any other phys aoe attacker in higher tiers. Pair him with a str buffer and other phys aoe attackers for maximum effect.

[Sailor Princess] Asfi Al Andromeda (Not Ascendable)

School girl Asfi (actually called Sailor Asfi) does not have the stats to be great. Like always, she can be replaced by any aoe mag attacker in a higher tier. Pair her with a mag buffer and other mag aoe attackers for maximum effect.

WG and RB:

[Feline Lancer] Anya Fromel (Not Ascendable)

No self buff and not amazing stats makes Anya a not so great adv in today’s standards. Like mentioned for all units in this tier, replace Anya with any phys adv in a higher tier for the respective event (wg or rb). The enemy phys resist decrease on her s3 makes Anya a decent pick for rb, if you are just starting out. A recommended starting attacking adv if you are new.

[Will of Iron] Kashima Ouka (Not Ascendable)

Ouka’s dmg is proportional to his current hp. It can be pretty scary if he can go first and one shot someone in wg, but usually, he just sucks. Mainly used as a sac in rb. Only use Ouka in wg if you literally have no better units for wg (you have 3* units that are better than him in wg) and use Ouka as a sac in rb (or a dmg dealer if you can guaranteed his hp to be above 80% for the majority of the fight). Replace Ouka for almost any other dmg dealer in the respective category if he is on your main team (and is not a sac).

[Masked Braver] Finn Deimne (Ascendable)

Great sac unit. His only defining feature is his +30% crit buff to all allies. This makes landing crits almost guaranteed (30% from weap and 30% from buffs + 10% from assist + x% from dex+agi). His s1 also almost always hits as a peneratation, increasing the dmg on his s1. No self buff and terrible stats are a major drawback for Masked Finn. I recommend only lvling this Finn up to lv 40, turning him into a 5* and getting his s2. At that lv, he is a perfect sac that also can give allies +30% crit. Replace Finn with any dmg dealers in the higher tiers for their respective events if Finn in on your main team as an actual dmg dealer (and not a sac).

[Royal Elf] Riveria Ljos Alf (Ascendable)

Best starting unit in the game. Healer Riv is an amazing starting unit, providing heals with added defense buffs to all allies. She isn’t good for the late game as she provides zero dmg, and serves solely as a healer. Replace Riv with any healer (dmg dealer/str or mag buffer for wg) in higher tiers in the respective events.

[The Shadow] Fels (Not Ascendable)

Fels is the rarest non-time limited adv in global. Fels has one of the worst end stats in the game (307), making them the first adv to die in wg in the majority of the games. Their s3 is also unique in the sense that they are the only adv in the game that gives allies an ailment resist buff (increases ailment resist for all allies by 20%). However, due to the lack of requirement for this skill, mixed with their terrible end stat, Fels is replaced for any other healer, preferably those in higher tiers.

C Tier:

WG:

[Bunny Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Not Ascendable, Both Versions)

While I disagree with this placement, Bunny Ais is C tier. Her stats and skills are similar to that of King Ottarl (OG Ottarl) so she probably can rival those in B tier. She is C tier only because of how hard it is to get her. By the time you can even obtain Bunny Ais (from Casino), you shouldn’t even need to get her as you are far enough in the game. Replace Bunny Ais with anyone in A tier or higher that is a phys aoe attacker. Use her with a str buffer and other phys aoe attackers for maximum effect.

[Heroic Liaris] Ais Wallenstein (Ascendable)

Just got powercrept. Terrible stats and no temp str boost on her s3 means she will do no dmg. Replace her with any phys aoe attacker in this tier or higher. Pair her with a str buffer and other phys attackers for maximum effect.

[Argonaut] Bell Cranel (Ascendable)

Argo Bell is the ai’s worst nightmare. He will sometimes use his mag attack when his phys atk stat is much higher, or he will use his phys attack when his matk stat is much higher. Regardless, his only job is to remove any Detective Chloe assist or Muse Eina assist stacks on the enemy in wg. Replace him for any dmg dealer in a higher tier for their respective dmg type (mag or phys).

WG and RB:

[Silver Moonshadow] Bete Loga (Ascendable)

Garbage. Trash. His str stat is just too low to do anything, even though OG Bete is the fastest adv when he gets his self buff off. He is just too slow as he is a turn 2 pop off unit. Replace him with any phys dmg dealer in a higher tier for their respective events. Pair him with other phys dmg advs (and a str buffer in wg).

[Classy Gentlemen] Finn Deimne (Not Ascendable)

A vampire. A phys dmg attacker with lifesteal, but terrible stats again make him unviable. Gentlemen Finn also has no self buff. Just replace him. Any phys attackers in higher tiers should be used. Heck, even those in this tier should be prioritized over him. Pair him with a str buffer and phys dmg dealers for the respective events for maximum effect. His SA is unique, with a +100% crit buff for 4 turns. This is kinda useless with the addition of +30% crit weapons though.

[Iron Warrior] Tsubaki Collbrande (Not Ascendable)

Only use her if you do not have a better mag buff remover. Other than that, please just replace her like every other C tier unit. At the bare minimum, she has 1382 str, so for an older unit, it is still respectable. Replace her with any phys dmg dealer for their respective events. Pair her with a str buffer and other phys attackers for maximum effect. She is actually not as bad of an adv, could possibly make it to B tier for Riv rb if we didn’t have Free Shakti (will be discussed later).

[Bashful Elf] Lefiya Viridis (Not Ascendable)

Amazon Lef is too slow and her stats are just not good enough to justify using over other advs. It is better to use 3* phys units over her as they are more easily mlb and will do more dmg with a str buffer. Pair her with a mag buffer and other mag attackers for maximum effect.

[Maenad’s Maiden] Filvis Challia (Not Ascendable)

Miko Filvis has no real great aoe attack, and has no self buff for rb. Same idea with Amazon Lef. That includes teamp comps too.

[Incantation] Lefiya Viridis (Ascendable)

She is a material killer. This Lef (calling her Inc Lef) is more of a nice mag supporting unit if you don’t have any mag attackers that lower mag resist of the enemy, or even light resist of the enemy. Again, Material killer means on events where the enemy are materials, she could be useful for scoring. Low stats are her down fall. If the enemy are not materials, the same idea applies from Amazon Lef. That also includes stuff about team comp. Extra note about teamp comp, pair her with light mag attackers for extra effect.

[Disguised Pallum] Liliruca Arde (Ascendable)

OG Lili has two st attacks and a low heal. It’s best to just use 3* Riv if you are looking for a pure healer. Replace her with 3* Riv or any healer in a higher tier if that is her main role in your team. If she is a dmg dealer in your team, replace her with any st mag attacker (as this lili only does st attacks).

[Dancing Blessing] Tiona Hiryute (Not Ascendable)

I wholeheartedly disagree with this placement. Her buffs makes her a great defensive unit in Riv rb (who requires a unit to remove mag buffs). She also increases mag resist of all allies by 30% as well as dex (dex increases crit chance) by the same amount. This makes surviving against Riv significantly easier, and only needs a unit that lowers mag of the enemy for maximum survivability (like Line). She should be B tier for rb in my personal opinion, but this was written before the buffs. Replace her if you have a better offensive mag buff remover, and do not need the added survivability. Pair her with Line (or another unit that lowers mag) and phys attackers for maximum effect. Use her solely against mag enemies, and if they buff mag she is an absolute necessity if you have no one better.

[Howling Blade] Welf Crozzo (Ascendable)

Smith Welf just sucks. Just don’t use him. He has a 75% taunt skill, which could have been potentially useful in wg, but he is just too slow to be useful. Replace him at all costs (use 3* Tione if you need a taunter). His s2 is useless if the opponent isn’t running a mag attacker, and his s1 does no dmg at all due to his non-existent str stat. Doesn’t pair well with anyone really.

[Samurai Kunoichi] Yamato Mikoto (Ascendable)

Ninja Mikoto is a debuffer that does not do any dmg. Her only attack is st, so replace her with any debuffer that can also attack while debuffing. Pair her with dmg dealers and a healer for maximum effect.

[Dea Saint] Amid Teasanare (Not Ascendable)

One of the only advs that can remove curse. DS Amid lost her only niche when rampage was replaced. Her only redefining feature is the mp heal on her SA, since curse is almost non-existent. Replace her with a healer that has the ability to do other things (not just heal). Pair her with a debuffer and other dmg dealers for maximum effect.

TL Adv:

SS Tier:

WG:

[Princess] Tohka Yatogami (Ascendable)

Touka boasts a great attack in her s1 which synergizes really well with other light advs. Her high agi (836) makes her more likely to go first after buffs in wg, allowing you to kill the enemy before taking much dmg. Pair her with Artemis primarily and other light phys attackers like Movie Bell and Movie Ryuu for maximum effect. Was a collab character so highly unlikely to ever get her again.

[Devil Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Ascendable)

DaL Ais (more commonly known as DP Ais) is a monster in wg. Her s2 does a massive amount of dmg and can potentially poison the enemy, dealing 25% of their hp per turn (for 1 turn). Her decent agi stat (806) means that she will not be going first, but will be hitting hard with a str stat of 1503. Pair her with a str buffer and other phys aoe attackers for maximum effect. Best paired with Artemis and dark phys units like Lunor and Kurumi for a potential one shot against the opponent (Yes, with a proper team, Ais can one shot the opponent in wg). Collab only so unlikely to come back.

[Deathly Dance] Elmina (Ascendable)

Elmina is the powercrept version of AoT Ais (discussed later). Elmina has an amazing debuff which increases aoe dmg taken by 30%. Additionally, that skill (s3) also has a high dmg multiplier and a fast multiplier. This means that if the enemy does not have the Detective Chloe assist (discussed later), than Elmina’s attack can deal massive dmg. Her s2 can also do massive dmg as it has a super dmg multiplier with a temp str boost. Because of this, Elmina can single-handedly destroy teams with only a str buffer. Pair her with other aoe phys attackers, and potentially a str buffer (might not always be necessary) for maximum effect.

[The Ancestry] Crozzo (Ascendable)

Welcome to powercreep. Crozzo is a fun unit to talk about. Crozzo has two debuffs that only last 2 turns, making him seem like a powerful WG unit. His s1 is a stronger GD Ryuu debuff, debuffing agi alongside str and mag by 30%. However, it is only 2 turns, meaning that it was initially meant for faster battles, such as WG. Crozzo’s s1 also has a fast multiplier, meaning he will attack before mag attackers with the fast multiplier, dampening the dmg dealt by mag rush teams. Crozzo’s s2 reduces the enemies fire res and phys res by 25%. Not only is this the highest phys res decrease on a normal skill, the added fire res down means fire units will be hitting even harder with the debuff. Both of these skills are superb on their own in WG, especially when paired with his high str stat (1611). While he is amazing in WG, I should also add stuff about his RB potential. Crozzo’s s3 extends all allies’ buffs by 1 turn. This means that if he can spam his s3, he can keep all allies’ buffs up 100% of the time against Revis. Against Ottarl and Riv, he would only need to start his s3 spam on turn 12 since only the turn 12 SA from Riv and Ottarl do not remove buffs. Use Crozzo with other physical AoE attackers and potentially a str buffer for maximum effect. Additionally, use Crozzo with Chad Argo for even better effects, as Crozzo was made to be Chad Argo’s support.

[Elven Mage] Fina (Ascendable)

Fina is a really strong mag aoe attacker. Her self buff skill (s1) buffs her wind dmg and her mag by 50%. Additionally, it is a mid dmg multiplier with a fast multiplier. This means that she’ll go before phys attackers and buffers of the same limit break. Because of this, Fina can kill people before they are even able to move. Her s2 is also an amazing skill. Fina’s s2 is essentially a slightly weaker SA, being able to deal absurd dmg, while almost guaranteed to pen. Because of this, Fina is an amazing mag attacker in wg. Pair her with other mag attackers (specifically Honor Lef and GD Ryuu) for maximum effects. You do not need a mag buffer as Fina will attack before the buffer can buff. Fina can also work decently well in RB, but just isn’t as potent as she is in WG.

[Night Buster] Raul Nord (Not Ascendable)

The only night Halloween Raul is gonna bust is yours. Halloween Raul is the thing that makes nightmares. He is the bread and butter in stall teams, taking near 0 dmg and dealing a massive amount of dmg with his s3. How his s3 works is that for every aoe dmg taken decrease and regen (includes both hp and mp) buffs, the skill gets and extra 60% dmg increase. With a perfect setup the skill can have a 300% dmg increase. In wg, this increase is usually around 180-240%. Pair him up with WC Lili (will be discussed later), Movie Welf and Movie Ryuu for maximum effect. Or try out a Raul buster team with WC Lili, Almighty Fighter Asfi, and CT Ais for the memes (the former is better, the latter is more troll, but also a lot faster).

[Sunrise Axe] Gareth Landrock (Not Ascendable)

NY Gareth is overpowered(op). His fast taunt skill (s1) is crazy. A 75% chance to taunt while lowering the enemies’ pen rate by 30% is massive. Getting taunted in wg can be fatal since the other advs are free to do whatever as you are forced to attack him. His incredible end stat of 797 in conjunction with his s2 (if he ever uses s3 something is wrong) makes him nearly unkillable. Pair him with a healer (NY Chigusa, will be discussed later) and other advs that can afflict ailments at a good rate (like NY Bell (discussed later) and DP Ais) for a really cancer team. Gareth was released on 2018 NY, so it’s unlikely we will be getting him again.

[Sparkling Crystal] Hitachi Chigusa (Not Ascendable)

Interesting adv. NY Chigusa is a healer that only heals a single ally. Her main skill is her s2, a 50% chance to seal. This is cancer as this will stop the sealed targets from using any skills. Chigusa sadly only really works well on ailment teams, so the team composition mentioned in NY Gareth’s little tipbit is the ideal team for her.

WG and RB:

[The Dawn] Argonaut (Ascendable)

Chad Argo is broken. His s1 has a fast multiplier, making a prime first turn skill. Even with a low dmg multiplier, his dmg output with the skill is crazy due to his high str stat (1619). In conjunction with Elmina, his s1 can deal massive dmg before mag rush even gets to attack. Chad Argo’s s2 isn’t as amazing though. While it has a super dmg multiplier (so it does great dmg), it applies a hp regen buff, which isn’t extremely useful. However, the dmg from his s2 is enough to ignore the wasted secondary effect (which is more useful in pve content like FE). His s3 is the reason why he is so good in RB though. His s3 has a high dmg multiplier with temp str boost, making it stronger than Yuri s3 in terms of dmg multiplier. Additionally, it extends debuffs by one turn. Against Riv or Ottarl, who don’t cleanse debuffs, this means Argo can potentially keep up the strongest debuffs in the game forever (until he runs out of mp). This actually is quite terrifying since he can keep up Yuri’s -50% phys res decrease on his SA or Movie Lili’s ST dmg taken increase debuff. This means that sacs with strong debuffs are great with Argo. Additionally, he has a +50% counter dmg passive alongside his normal and counter attacks dealing fire dmg. This means he can do massive dmg with his counters that are on par with Yuri counters. Unfortunately, Argo doesn’t shine against Revis, as he is unable to bypass the debuff cleanse on turns 6 and 10. Pair Argo with Crozzo as Argo can extend Crozzo’s debuffs while Crozzo can extend Argo’s buffs. Additionally, pair Chad Argo with other phys AoE attackers in WG or other st attackers with good debuffs in RB (alongside Line).

[Winter Cream] Liliruca Arde (Not Ascendable)

WC is the best healer in the game. She has a mag buff, which allows her to fit right into mag teams in wg, while the heal buff from the same skill (s1) makes her healing significantly higher, making her the best fit for a healer in stall teams. With her s3, stall teams can regen upwards to 50% of the wg hp, which is massive. Put her on a mag aoe team (use other mag aoe units like CT Ais) as the mag buffer, or in a stall team like the one mentioned in Halloween Raul’s little tipbit.

RB:

[First in Class] Mikasa Ackermann (Ascendable)

Mikasa is a great adv. Her double buffs paired with her s3 makes her an amazing st phys dark attacker. Furthermore, her s3 removes mag buffs, allowing her to excel in Riv RB. She can also substitute for Knight Ryuu in Revis RB, as the extra -20% from Ryuu isn’t absolutely necessary for hitting 100 mill+ score. Absolute monster in RB. Pair her with other st phys attackers and Line for maximum effect. Best units to pair up with include Movie Lili, Knight Ryuu, Bride Tione, Line, Halloween Ais, HP Ais. Pair her up with those according to tier list for best effects.

[Wolven Pride] Yuri (Ascendable)

Yuri seems to confirm the newest type of self buffs. Yuri’s self buff (s1) is a skill that buffs both earth dmg and str by 50%. Additionally, his s2 is a strong st attack that lowers the target’s earth resist and guard rate by 40%. While there aren’t any earth phys st attackers, this pairs well with his counter passive, where all his normal attacks (including his counter attackers) deal earth dmg. This means his counters will do massive dmg as they benefit from the earth dmg buff and earth resist decrease. To top the icing on the cake, Yuri’s s3 can also remove mag buffs, allowing him to thrive against Riv RB too. Overall, Yuri is a strong choice for RB. Pair him with other phys st attackers (pref earth) and Line for maximum effect. Additionally, there is potential in using him in conjunction with Line and the cat duo (Xmas Anya (discussed later) and Detective Chloe) in an earth resist down Riv RB.

[Angel] Origami Tobiichi (Ascendable)

Looking for a powercrept EA Lef (Armpit Lef)? Well here is your girl. Origami is an amazing mag st attacker as she has a self mag buff, allowing her to take full advantage of Line’s light buff from her SA. Additionally, her s1 lowers light resist of the targeted foe by 20%. This allows her to excel as an excellent light mag attacker. Pair her with other light mag st attackers for maximum effect, as well as Line.

[Sweet Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Ascendable)

Light mag version of Mikasa. The only difference is that her second buff buffs all allies’ light dmg by 20%. This means that she is suited to be on a light mag st team. Additionally, her s1 removes mag buffs, thus she is amazing in Riv RB. As we have not had any mag Revis, it is unknown whether Valentine Ais will be good against a Revis who lowers her own mag res. Expect Valentine Ais to drop in priority against a mag resist down Revis. Pair Valentine Ais with other light st mag advs and Line for maximum effect.

[Holiday Cat] Anya Fromel (Ascendable)

Remember Detective Chloe? Well this is her trusty partner. Xmas Anya has a single +75% self mag buff, like almost all other st mag attackers. What makes her stand out is her s2 and s3. Her s2 lowers the earth res of the enemy targeted by 35% for three turns. This pairs super well with Detective Chloe as she is also earth attuned. Anya’s s3 is a -40% guard rate for the targeted foe. This essentially removes all chances of your attacks being guarded, leading to higher more consistent runs. Pair Xmas Anya with earth st mag attackers and Line for maximum effect. If you don’t pair her up with Detective Chloe (and you have her at a decent lb (3+)), you got a problem, let me build your team for you.

S Tier:

WG:

[Suntan Girl] Tione Hiryute (Not Ascendable)

2017 Sum Tione is a slower phys attacker in wg. However, Sum Tione’s taunt skill makes up for her lack of agi (788). If Tione is able to taunt the enemy, it will ruin the chances of the enemy winning the match as they will be forced to attack Sum Tione only. In a phys rush team, replace her with any phys adv in SS tier. In ailment teams, either replace her for Gareth, or replace her with another ailment adv such that you can keep the enemy stalled and win that way. Pair her with either other aoe phys units and a str buffer, or run her with other ailment inflicting advs (minus taunt) to create a stall team.

[Pretty Lady] Ryu Lion (Ascendable)

Valentine Ryuu is really fast, is an amazing agi stat of 872. However, she does not hit as hard as she does not have any kind of elemental synergy with other top tier wg advs. Still a solid adv, which can possibly remove str debuffs on allies if wg manages to make it past turn 1. Replace her with any phys aoe attacker in SS Tier. Pair her with other aoe phys attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Nightmare] Kurumi Tokisaki (Ascendable)

Kurumi has a pretty high agi for a balance adv, but it is still really low. However, her s1 has a -35% agi down, and her s3 is a guaranteed stun on a single target. These make her extremely potent at causing the enemy to be unable to do anything before they die. Use an agi based assist (such as sf hestia who will be discussed later on) to boost her agi to the point where she will go first. Replace Kurumi with any phys aoe attacker in SS Tier, unless she is a part of a phys dark rush team. If she is in the latter team, she is extremely potent, as her s1 also lowers enemies’ dark res by 35%, which can allow DaL Ais to one shot the enemy if she were to go after Kurumi. Pair her with a str buffer and other dark phys aoe attackers for the maximum effect.

[Regiment Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Ascendable)

AoT Ais has a mediocre agi stat of 817, but she has a pretty nice skill (which got powercrept at this point). +15% aoe dmg taken by foes hit by her s3 means she is great in aoe content like wg. Unfortunately, her average agi (817) means that she will not go first in a battle after buffs, dampening her effectiveness. Replace her with any phys aoe adv in SS Tier. Pair her with other aoe phys attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[A Fresh Start] Bell Cranel (Not Ascendable)

Fun unit to use. NY Bell has a fast attack with a chance to seal. This attack allows him the chance to seal the enemy before they even get to attack. He is best used in ailment teams, as his fast multiplier means he will not get the str buff from the str buffer on turn 1, potentially missing out just enough dmg to kill the enemy. If used in a phys wg team, replace him for any phys aoe attacker in S or SS Tier. When used in an ailment team, he is really hard to replace to be perfectly honest. Replace him with other units that can either seal or stun. Seal is the best ailment to use, but stun is also perfectly fine.

[Glistening Elf] Ryu Lion (Not Ascendable)

Xmas 2018 Ryuu is another aoe mag attacker that has a +60% wind buff, which means she can boost her dmg even further with a mag buffer. Enough about the memes, the real reason why Xmas 2018 Ryuu is ranked so high is due to her strongest skill (s2) also has the ability to seal, at 20%. This means that Ryuu can hit hard, and potentially seal the enemy if they manage to live past turn 1. Replace her with any mag aoe unit in SS Tier. Pair her with other mag aoe units (pref Fina and AoT Bell who is discussed later) and a mag buffer like WC Lili.

[Summer Fun] Liliruca Arde (Not Ascendable)

Sum 2018 Lili is a great aoe mag unit. She has a strong aoe mag attack that can increase the amount of turns left on enemy debuffs by 1 turn. While this secondary effect isn’t amazing anymore, she will still do a lot of dmg with a mag stat of 1365. Replace Sum 2018 Lili with any aoe mag unit in SS Tier. Pair her with a mag buffer and other mag attackers for maximum effect.

[Vigorous Hammerer] Galmus (Ascendable)

“I’m only 18” is a big meme in the community now. As the weakest 2nd anni character to be released, he is placed in S Tier, not SS Tier. Galmus is an amazing defensive adv, but stall is dead in the meta, as mag rush teams can easily kill stall before stall can get their buffs off in time, and phys teams will just out dmg stall teams. However, Galmus’ s1 is a fast buff that decreases all dmg taken (aoe and st) by 35% for all allies. This can make it such stall teams do not die super fast, ,allowing a 2 turn kill on the front line by Halloween Raul. Pair him with other stall members, such as Halloween Raul and WC Lili for maximum effect. Additionally, Galmus can be added to a mag rush team consisting of GD Ryuu, Fina and Honor Lef to ensure that they are able to live to the next turn, where Honor Lef and Fina will decimate the enemy’s entire team. Galmus is also a solid unit in RB, for newer players who are unable to survive the harder difficulties in RB.

RB:

[Blue Lotus] Shakti Varma (Ascendable)

Free Shakti (people do call her BL Shakti) is quite literally the best free to play (f2p) adv we have gotten for Riv RB. Shakti is a st phys attacker, with the added benefit of having a mag buff removal on her s2. In conjunction with her -mag debuff on her s1, she allows newer players to be able to handle Riv RB with a healer. Due to BL Shakti being a free unit, her s1 buff is only a 65% str buff instead of a 75% str buff, and Shakti unfortunately has a low str stat of 1040. For any content that does not have a self mag buff, Shakti should be replaced with any other st phys attacker in S or SS Tier. For st content with mag buffs, replace her with any unit that can remove mag buffs, for mag teams its Val Ais, for phys teams it either Mikasa or Yuri. Pair her with other phys st attackers, pref Movie Lili, for maximum effect. Also Line too.

[Starving Mind] Ais Wallenstein (Ascendable)

Halloween Ais (SM Ais) is a strong st phys attacker against mag st content. She has a -30% mag debuff to her target on her s2. Additionally, her s1 reduces the enemy’s dark resist by 25%, so she is best paired with other dark st units (pref phys). Replace Ais with any st phys attackers in SS Tier. Pair her with other dark phys st attackers and Line for maximum effect.

[Aspiring Elegance] Bell Cranel (Ascendable)

Xmas Bell is a funny adv. He was supposed to copy Levi, so an aoe double attacker, but that actually is garbage in wg. Xmas Bell, however, is surprising decent in rb. His double buffs means he can hit as hard as a single buff st attacker. While not optimum, Xmas Bell should not be ignored when making an rb team, if you lack a third good mag st attacker. Replace Xmas Bell with other mag st attackers in S or SS Tier. Pair him with other mag attackers (pref st and fire synergy) and Line for maximum effect. Xmas Bell truly shines with the help of assists, so I will talk about those later on in the guide.

[Offshore Elf] Lefiya Viridis (Ascendable)

Sum Lef is an adv that no one really uses nowadays. Lack of good water support made her pretty forgettable though. With a proper team, Sum Lef can truly shine, as I managed to hit top 50 in rb once with Sum Lef as my main attacker. Replace Sum Lef with other st mag attackers in S or SS Tier as Sum Lef does not have a proper double crit weap that she can fully get the max atk from. Pair her with other st mag attackers and Line (or Sum Amid) for maximum effect.

A Tier:

WG:

[Summer Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Ascendable)

Sum 2018 Ais (also known as Red Bikini Ais) is a solid aoe phys water attacker. Her s1 removes str buffs, so she can potentially remove str buffs from the enemy if you are able to make it to turn 2. Additionally, her s2 takes a turn off the buffs of the enemy, meaning stall teams will crumble with their 2 turn buffs. Unfortunately, Sum 2018 Ais has a terrible agi stat of 794, meaning she will almost always go last in a turn. Replace Ais with any other aoe phys attacker in S or SS Tier. Pair her with other aoe phys attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Yukata Beauty] Yamato Mikoto (Not Ascendable)

Slow. Yukata Mikoto is really slow, but she boasts one of the absolute best support skills in the game. Yukata Mikoto’s s2 lowers the enemies phys resist and guard rate by 25%, which is massive. That is also the highest phys resist decrease in the game. Replace Yukata Mikoto with any aoe phys attackers in S or SS Tier. Pair her with other phys attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Strongest Soldier] Levi (Ascendable)

Levi is the biggest disappointment in the game. Staged as the main adv in the trailer of the crossover, Levi was the first aoe double buffer in the game. As mentioned with Xmas Bell, Levi is too slow in wg. Additionally, his main attacking skill does not have temp str boost, further lowering his dmg output. Replace Levi with any other phys aoe attacker in S or SS Tier. Pair him

with other phys aoe attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Summer Swim] Tiona Hiryute (Not Ascendable)

While Sum Tiona has a great attacking skill in her s3, her lackluster stats from being an older unit shows. With only 1317 str and 793 agi, Tiona will hit last almost all the time, and will not hit as hard as other units. Replace her with other phys aoe attackers in S or SS Tier. Pair her with other phys aoe attackers, alongside a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Sweet Devil] Liliruca Arde (Not Ascendable)

Halloween Lili is an old unit, with lackluster stats. However, she does provide two great attacks in her s2 and s3. Her s2 increases status debuffs by one turn, which is useful in content outside wg, and her s3 lowers the enemies end by 30%, which is massive in wg. Replace Halloween Lili with other aoe mag attackers in S or SS Tier. Pair Lili with other mag attackers and a mag buffer for maximum effect.

[Wicked Elf] Lefiya Viridis (Not Ascendable)

Halloween Lef has a strong mag attack in her s3, but she unfortunately does not bring enough dmg or utility to be very good. While lowering the enemies counter rate can be nice, it is not needed. Replace her with other aoe mag attackers in S or SS Tier. Pair her with other aoe mag attackers and a mag buffer for maximum effect.

[Vampiric Fairy] Ryu Lion (Not Ascendable)

Halloween 2017 Ryuu is a fun unit to use. All her skills are indexed to her endurance (end), so she does more dmg the higher her end is. Additionally, her taunt skill also gives her an end buff. This used to be good, but her garbage agi stat of 358 means she will not go first with her taunt skill, rendering it useless in this meta. However, in a proper ailment team, Halloween Ryuu can actually see usage. Replace Halloween Ryuu with NY Gareth in ailment teams, and replace her with another aoe attacker (phys or mag depending on the team) for a rush team. Pair her with other ailment users for an ailment team, or use her to keep your units alive if you are struggling to survive in the lower tiers of wg (braver and below). Pair her with a mag buffer and other aoe mag attackers if you are trying to use her as a mag attacker.

WG and RB:

[Clown] Argonaut (Ascendable)

Free Argo is a nice unit, essentially a weaker, fire version of Honor Bell. He has lower stats than Honor Bell, but his move set is the same (without the secondary effect on his aoe attack) and he is attuned to the fire element. He also has a st attack and a self buff, making a viable unit to use in RB. While is a great unit for free players, he is overshadowed by the units in the higher tiers. Replace Argo with aoe/st phys units (depending on the event, WG or RB) in S or SS Tier. Pair Argo with other phys attackers and a str buffer in WG, and other st attackers and Line (a support) in RB for maximum effect.

[ODM Fighter] Bell Cranel (Ascendable)

AoT Bell should really only be in the WG section. His s2 pairs well with other aoe wind attackers, and since aoe wind attackers tend to buff their own wind dmg, using a mag buffer in RB with AoT Bell and other aoe win mag attackers are actually do surprisingly well for an aoe team in st content. Replace Bell with other aoe mag attackers in S or SS Tiers for wg, and other st mag attackers for RB. Pair AoT Bell with a mag buffer and other aoe mag wind attackers in WG and RB for maximum effect. Unfortunately, Bell does pair well with other st mag attackers in rb as his best RB team is highly specialised.

[Oriental Attire] Finn Deimne (Ascendable)

NY Finn is a nice free unit. His -25% mag and str debuff to all foes helps with survivability in RB and WG. Additionally, he has a strong aoe and st attack. His lack of stats and no self buffs is a huge detriment though. Replace Finn with a debuffer in S or SS Tier, an aoe attacker in S or SS Tier if this is for WG, and Line if this is for RB. Pair him with a str buffer and other aoe phys attackers in WG, and a healer with two st attackers (pref phys) for RB.

[Holly Wreath] Chloe Lolo (Ascendable)

A f2p version of Casino Shakti. She is still a great support unit against phys attackers, but only phys attackers. Only use Xmas Chloe against enemies that deal phys dmg. Xmas Chloe also deals no dmg, so she is only used as a support that nullifies phys dmg. Replace her with Casino Shakti, or other debuffers in higher tiers if her support skills are overkill (mainly in rb). Pair her with a healer, and other attackers based on the content (aoe or st) for maximum effect. Again, only use her as a support against phys dealing enemies.

[Beach Saint] Amid Teasanare (Ascendable)

Sum Amid is by far the best water support. However, due to the lack of need for water support, and her lackluster dmg, Sum Amid is unfortunately not needed in this meta. Her s1 lowers water resist and agi by 30% for all enemies hit. Additionally, Amid grants a +35% water dmg up on her s2. To top it all off, Amid also can remove curses with her heal on s3. Replace Sum Amid with an aoe mag attacker in WG, and Line (or another healer) for RB. Pair Amid with water mag attackers such as Bride Lili, Xmas 2017 Ais (discussed later), Elf Riv, etc…, aoe attackers for WG, and st attackers for RB.

RB:

[Love Lesson] Yamato Mikoto (Ascendable)

Val Mikoto has a decent kit, with a self buff and a strong st attack. However, her lackluster stats and her self buff being +65% mag instead of +75% mag makes her a weak choice. Also, her SA is an aoe attack instead of a st attack. All of these unfortunately put her down in A Tier. Replace Val Mikoto with other st mag attackers in higher tiers. Pair her with other st mag attackers and Line for maximum effect.

[The White Rabbit] Bell Cranel (Not Ascendable)

Halloween Bell used to be the best unit in wg, being able to pick people off after his turn 1 buff. Now, due to his self buff not dealing any dmg, and his s3 not having temp mag boost, he unfortunately is overshadowed by many better st mag attackers. Replace Halloween Bell with other st mag attackers in higher tiers. Pair him with other mag attackers and Line for maximum effect.

[Breezy Freese] Bell Cranel (Ascendable)

Yukata Bell has a good st attack in his s1, but his self buff is only 50% mag, so his potential dmg output is really low. Replace Yukata Bell with other st mag attackers in higher tiers. Pair him with other st mag attackers and Line for maximum effect.

[Elegant Elf] Lefiya Viridis (Ascendable)

Healer Lef is actually a nice healer. She can lower aoe dmg taken by 20% with her s1, and her s3 heals while applying a +25% mag buff to all allies. Essentially, Healer Lef is a budget version of Almighty Fighter Asfi. Replace Lef with Line primarily, or other healers in higher tiers. Pair Lef with other st mag attackers, pref with ones that can also debuff, for maximum effect.

B Tier:

WG:

[Wings of Freedom] Eren Jaeger (Ascendable)

Eren was the free unit during the AoT collab. Surprisingly, he isn’t that bad. Eren has some of the better stats for a free unit, and has a strong aoe attack in his s1. His self buff isn’t amazing, as it does not do any dmg, but it also has an added hp regen for himself. A very useful unit for newer players. Replace Eren with any aoe phys attacker in the higher tiers. Pair Eren with other phys attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Moonlit Wolf] Bete Loga (Ascendable)

Halloween Bete is a disappointment. His low agi stat of 799 means he will almost always go last on turn 1. However, Bete has a strong attack in his s3, but it does not have temp str boost. Bete is also one of the only advs in this game with lifesteal on one of his attacks, but its effectiveness is reduced in wg, so he just isn’t a great unit. Replace him with any aoe phys attacker in the higher tiers. Pair him with other aoe phys attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Holy Gale] Ryu Lion (Not Ascendable)

Xmas 2017 Ryuu used to be the best debuffer for mag teams, but she is now too slow due to her being a mag attacker without any fast multipliers on her attacks. Her attacks also do not have a great multiplier as they are only med dmg multiplier without any temp mag boost. Overall, not a great mag aoe attacker in this age. Replace her for any faster debuffer in a higher tier if that was her primary role, or any mag aoe attacker in the higher tiers if she is meant to be a mag aoe attacker. Pair her with other aoe mag attackers and a mag buffer for maximum effect.

WG and RB:

[Santa Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Not Ascendable)

Xmas 2017 Ais is actually not a terrible unit, just too slow. Her aoe attack does not have temp mag boost, so it does not hit as hard as it needs to be, and she has no self buff for RB. However, in a full water mag team, this Ais has her merit. Personal Bias, but I used Xmas 2017 Ais to hit top 50 in RB as a secondary attacker. Replace Ais with any aoe mag attacker in a higher tier for WG, and any st mag attacker in the higher tiers for RB. Pair her with a mag buffer and other mag aoe attackers in wb for maximum effect. For RB, the best team for her would in a team with Sum Amid as a support unit, but pair her with a buffing support and other st mag attackers for the maximum effect.

[Temptations] Liliruca Arde (Not Ascendable)

Sum 2017 Lili is not a great unit. She does provide a +20% mag resist buff (s3) to all allies, and can cure ailments with her healing skill (s1). Replace Lili with a healer in a higher tier. Pair Lili with a debuffer and other attackers (aoe for WG and st for RB, phys or mag) for maximum effect. Also use her in content where you take mag dmg from enemies for the best effect.

[Photographer] Photo & Sou (Ascendable)

Photo has a great healing ability, which increases the guard rate of all allies by 20%. Additionally, she can also increase the healing received by all allies by 20% (s3). However, since she is strictly a healer, she isn’t great in both wg and rb. Replace Photo with WC Lili if you need a healer in WG, or another aoe attacker if you are running a rush team. For RB, replace Photo with Line, or any other healer in the higher tiers. Pair Photo with aoe attackers for WG, while a debuffer and 2 other st attackers in RB for maximum effect.

RB:

[The Traditional] Yamato Mikoto (Not Ascendable)

NY 2017 Mikoto has one of the strongest light resist debuffs in the game, decreasing the target’s light resist by 35%. She also can buff mag of all allies by 45%. However, she lacks enough dmg to be useful in RB. Replace her with other st mag attackers in RB. Pair her with other st light mag attackers that buff their own light dmg and a healer + debuffer for maximum effect. NY 2017 Mikoto can also fit in a mag rush team for WG as the mag buffer.

[Winter Elf] Lefiya Viridis (Not Ascendable)

Xmas Lef (also known as Reindeer Lef) is just the water version of NY 2017 Mikoto. Take the little tipbit for NY 2017 Mikoto and change all mentions of light into water and you have Reindeer Lef’s little tipbit. Same idea for the teams.

C Tier:

WG:

[Two-Wheel Racer] Hermes & Hermes (Ascendable)

Hermemes is a huge meme. He is meant to be a stun bot, but he takes 1 turn to ramp up with his s1 in order to become a monster. In this meta, stun resist armor is common in WG and taking one turn to set up is usually too slow. He also lacks any kind of dmg with his lackluster str stat (1009). Replace him with any phys aoe attacker in this tier or higher. Pair him with more stally ailment teams for maximum effect. You can also pair him with a str buffer and other phys aoe attackers for slightly less effectiveness.

[Foreign Traveler] Kino & Hermes (Ascendable)

Kino is what you call the victim of powercreep. Once the terror of WG, she unfortunately got powercrept beyond belief. Her aoe skills lack any kind of dmg, and her debuff is outshone by Movie Ryuu, who does more dmg than Kino. Replace Kino with any phys aoe attacker in the higher tiers. Pair her with other aoe phys attackers and a str buffer for maximum effect.

[Splash Princess] Ais Wallenstein (Not Ascendable)

Sum 2017 Ais is a mag attacker with too low of a mag star (1113) to even do any kind of dmg. While her s2 can do dmg, lack of good stats is her down fall. Her buffing skill (s3) isn’t really useful now, so this Ais is left in a terrible spot. Replace Sum 2017 Ais with any mag aoe attacker in the higher tiers. Pair Ais with other mag aoe attackers and a mag buffer for maximum effect.

RB:

[Wondering Man] Shizu & Riku (Ascendable)

Victim of powercreep. Shizu is actually the only unit to be able to hit 100% crit without the need of a +100% crit buff or the crit rate gained from agi and dex. Shizu has a self +50% crit rate buff. Alongside the +20% crit assist (discussed later on) and a +30% weap, he can achieve 100% crit rate. Shizu is also the only unit that can remove phys resist buffs from the enemy. However, no dmg self buff means he unfortunately does not do any dmg. Replace him with any st phys attacker in the higher tiers. Pair Shizu with other st attackers and Line for maximum effect (ignore str buffer).

Assists:

I’ll be doing assists differently. I’ll be breaking them down into different categories and ratings based on their category. Little note, assists only apply to the units currently in battle, so only the units whose little model can be seen.

Offensive Assists:

Strength Boost:

Non-Time Limited:

[Innocent Goddess] Artemis

One of the best strength (str) boosting assists in the game. Artemis increases all allies str by 15% at mlb, while increasing the unit she is currenting equipped to’s str by 20%. Because of this, Artemis is equipped with the main dmg dealing adv for maximum effect. Use her on phys teams for maximum effect.

[Part-time Goddess] Hestia

Part time Hestia (PT Hestia) is just Artemis, but worse. PT Hestia only gives all allies +15% str at mlb. This and her lower stats means that PT Hestia should only be used if Artemis is not mlb, while PT Hestia is, or if you do not have Artemis.

[God of Light] Apollo

Apollo is an amazing assist. He boasts an insane str stat of 601 while having a respectable agi stat of 454. Additionally, he also increases all allies str by 15%, which is quite standard. The real perk is that he lowers the enemies’ light and fire res by 15%. This means fire or light phys units will benefit the most from Apollo, and the dmg increase will beat that of Artemis assist. Use him with the Chad Argo and Crozzo for the best effect. He can also be used in conjunction with fire mag units to boost their dmg slightly more. Great assist for a not so likeable god.

Time Limited:

[Explosive Girl] Ti

Ti gives all allies +10% str and crit rate. While her effects are low in numbers, crit rate is helpful for being more consistent, even if it means sacrificing potential damage. Replace Ti with Artemis or PT Hestia if the extra crit rate is unneeded.

[Kunoichi Goddess] Hestia

CR Hestia gives all allies +10% str and +15% hp regen. While the % on the str buff is low, the hp regen means that she is also able to keep the team healthy and provides a little extra survivability. Use CR Hestia if survivability is on the lower side, and hp regen is required. Replace CR Hestia with any of the other three assists if the extra survivability is unneeded.

Magic Boost:

Non-Time Limited:

[Wedding Wish] Hestia

Bride Hestia is the best generic mag buffing assist. +20% mag to all allies, alongside +10% crit rate means that any mag team that uses Bride Hestia will hit harder, and be more consistent. Use her if you do not have a specialized team that requires another mag buffing assist.

[Banquet Queen] Freya

Banquet Freya is a super nice assist for WG. The +10% agi buff is helpful; however, due to the nature of magic attacks, the +agi is unfortunately wasted as phys teams run rampant and mag teams rely on the fast multiplier on their attacks to nuke phys teams. Use Freya is you have no better mag assist to use, or if you find you are running into more mag teams and you do not use SF Hestia (discussed later).

[Queen of Beauty] Freya

I don’t really know the name for this Freya, so I’ll call her Nature Freya. So Nature Freya is a great defensive assist for RB. Increasing allies mag by 15% at mlb is great, but reducing aoe attack dmg from enemies by 10% is massive. This makes surviving a lot easier, and is a great assist to use. Replace Freya if survivability is not an issue and you have a +mag assist that provides higher potential dmg output for your team.

Time Limited:

[Reindeer Goddess] Hestia

Reindeer Hestia is an amazing offensive assist. She provides +15% mag at mlb, but also provides +15% fire and wind dmg up for all allies at mlb. This means that Reindeer Hestia further boosts the dmg of fire or wind mag attackers. Use her with wind or fire mag attackers for maximum effect.

[Tricky Angel] Syr Flover

Halloween 2017 Syr isn’t an amazing assist. Her +15% mag is definitely nice, but her -10% counter rate to enemies is not really needed. It does help reduce the chances of losing to counters, but most phys rush teams use Artemis adv, which means that they get a +20% counter rate, counteracting this debuff. Overall, replace Halloween 2017 Syr if you have another mag assist that provides better offensive or defensive capabilities.

[Pure White] Syr Flover

Simply the best mag assist for water mag teams. This is my personal favourite mag assist as I mainly use a water mag team, as you would have seen if you decided to read this entire thing (or just look back to [Offshore Elf] Lefiya Viridis, [Beach Saint] Amid, and [Santa Princess] Ais) Xmas 2017 Syr reduces enemies’ water resist by 15%. This makes water units hit significantly harder. Additionally, Syr also buffs mag by 15% for all allies (like the rest of the units in this category), making her the best mag boosting assist for water mag teams. Replace Xmas 2017 Syr if you have better mag assists and you are not making a water mag team.

[Elegant Queen] Freya

NY 2018 Freya is simply Xmas 2017 Syr, but for light mag teams. Replace all instances of water with light in Xmas 2017 Syr tipbit, and replace all instances of Xmas 2017 Syr with NY 2018 Freya and you have NY 2018 Freya’s tipbit.

[Princess] Crunchyroll-Hime

Hime is essentially a WG assist. She provides a +15% mag buff increase to the front line, so she is meant to be on a magic team. However, her secondary effect is a 45% chance to stun the enemy. Since most pve enemies have immunities to ailments, Hime’s secondary effect is wasted. Only use Hime if you lack a better mag buffing assist in pve. Use Hime in WG if you are looking to cheese your way in WG using stuns for a free first turn.

Elemental Damage Boost:

Non-Time Limited:

[Pure Bride] Syr Flover

Bride Syr is a must have for water and dark teams. Syr boosts dark and water elemental dmg by 15% at mlb for all allies. Additionally, she also lowers enemies water and dark resist by 7%, so she can further increase the dmg of water and dark attuned advs. Use her with water and dark advs for maximum effect.

Time Limited:

[Reindeer Goddess] Hestia

Reindeer Hestia was mentioned before. In addition to the little tipbit previously, she truly shines in fire and wind teams (mag teams for maximum effect, but can be used in non-mag teams). Use her with fire and wind units for amazing effects, and fire/wind mag units for maximum effects.

[Handmade Elf] Eina Tulle

Vday Eina is essentially the light and earth version of Bride Syr. Replace all instances of the word water with earth, and dark with light in Bride Syr’s tipbit and that is Vday Eina’s tipbit.

Critical Rate Boost:

Non-Time Limited:

[Elf’s Gift] Eina Tulle

Crit Eina does one thing. She increases the critical rate of allies by 20% at mlb. She is the best assist to use if you are looking to maximize the number of crits from your advs. She is also a dex based assist, so either use her on a sac or put her on an adv that is looking to counter a lot (like Yuri). Often replaced by crit/pen Loki.

[Trickster’s Truth] Loki

Crappy pic I’m sorry. Crit/Pen Loki is essentially the best crit assist you want to use. While she only gives +15% crit at mlb, she also gives +15% pen rate at mlb. The extra 15% pen rate is better than getting the extra 5% crit rate from Crit Eina. Mag based assist so it’s best to use her on a mag attacker, or a sac. Goes well with any team that can afford to use another offensive assist.

[Wedding Wish] Hestia

I previously mentioned Bride Hestia in an earlier section. Everything still holds about her so please check out the other section. If you people are too lazy to click twice with your mouse (or tap twice on your screen) then tl:dr Hesita is the best general mag assist to use. Use her when you want the extra 10% crit (at mlb) for more consistency. It’s only 10% at mlb, so she is a worse version of Crit/Pen Loki or Crit Eina if you are only looking for extra crit from the assist. Pair her with a mag team for maximum effect.

Time Limited:

[Explosive Girl] Ti

Please check the section on Ti above. Ti essentially is just a worse phys version of Bride Hestia. Only use her if you do not have the room for two assists to fill her role, or if you have no better str/crit assist to use. Use her with a phys team for maximum effect.

[Living Dead Child] Bell Cranel

Halloween Bell was the free unit for 2018 Halloween. Due to him being free, his stats are roughly the same as those of a +4 balanced assist, with equal str and mag stats. He lowers enemies’ dark resistance by 10%, meaning he works well on dark teams trying to maximize dmg. Additionally, he also increases allies’ crit rate by 10%, meaning he also works as a crit assist, reducing the number of missed crits in a run. Overall, use him on a dark team for maximum effect.

[Summer Goddess] Hestia

Sum 2018 Hestia’s main role is not to give a crit boost, but to slow the enemy. A highly valuable assist in WG due to her 90% chance to inflict a slow. Slowing the enemy means you get to go before they can, which is valuable in WG where having your attacks go last can spell defeat on turn 1. Only use Sum 2018 Hestia in WG for her ailment, or on a team for her crit rate boost (10% at mlb) if the extra crit rate is needed for higher consistency. If you are using her for the latter, please use any of the other crit rate boosting assists.

Penetration Rate Boost:

Non-Time Limited:

[Trickster’s Truth] Loki

Crit/Pen Loki. Enough said. Crit/Pen Loki is the only assist that boosts penetration rate. Use her over Crit Eina when your units need the extra pen rate over the extra crit rate. Great assist.

Counter Rate Boost:

Non-Time Limited:

[Camellia Kimono] Tsubaki Collbrande

Tsubaki assist is the only party wide +counter rate (20% at mlb) that’s readily available. She also lowers enemies’ crit rate by a max of 10%, making her a good defensive unit in RB. Use her when you have units that can deal massive dmg with their counters (Yuri) or have special effects upon countering. Great for events where maximizing dmg is a must, aka RB and Familia Events (FE).

Time Limited:

[Mummy Goddess] Hestia

Mummy Hestia is an end based assist. If that itself wasn’t bad enough, her secondary effect is that she lowers the enemies’ dex by 10% at mlb. Lowering the dex stat lowers the chances of the enemy countering, but it’s absolutely worthless as lowering dex does not increase your survivability, especially in RB where the boss doesn’t even counter. Her counter rate increase is only 15% at mlb, making her inferior to Tsubaki assist. Only use Hestia if you need a counter rate increase assist for someone like Yuri.

[In The End] Orna

Orna is an assist that requires her to be placed on a unit that wants to counter. So she lowers the enemies’ phys and mag res by 15% at mlb. This means she can be used on both phys and mag teams. Her true worth is in her +30% counter and guard rate for the single alliy she is equipped to. This means that the one adv that gains the stats from Orna also gets +30% counter and guard rate. This is good as it almost guarantees a counter with Line counter buff. Use her with a unit that wants to counter a lot (Like Yuri) for maximum effect.

Agility Boost:

Non-Time Limited:

[Sacred Fire] Hestia

God sent. Literally god sent. SF Hestia makes her way in every top tier WG team. Her party wide agi buff means if the enemy has no agi buff, you are almost certain to go before them. Additionally, her st dmg taken increase debuff means that your team will do increased dmg to the enemy, regardless of if you are doing mag dmg or phys dmg. Use her in any aoe team in WG for maximum effect. Did I forget to mention she is also an agi based assist? This means whoever has SF Hestia equipped will be super fast, which is a necessity in WG.

[Banquet Queen] Freya

Banquet Freya was already mentioned above. TL:DR, helpful in mirror match ups (against other mag teams) if you lack SF Hestia.

Time Limited:

[Summer Break] Misha Flot

Sum Misha (best girl) is strictly a WG assist. Her slow resist is unique as it is the only slow resist in the game. The problem is that slow is not a threatening ailment, so it is ignored in RB. Because of this, Misha only exists in WG. However, she is only used when Sum 2018 Hestia is running rampant in WG (which doesn’t happen often). Because of this, she has limited uses and is not a great assist. You are better off not using her than running her for the extra agi. Only use her when Sum 2018 Hestia is running rampant. Her +10% Agi isn’t that bad to be perfectly honest.

Dexterity Boost:

Why in the world do you even need a +dex assist? Are you high?

Non-Time Limited:

[Moonlight Reunion] Hestia

Movie Hestia (or MR Hestia for you plebeians) is not used for her party wide dex increase. Her primary use is in her debuff to enemies which increases st dmg taken. She is the assist for st teams, and with the extra dex, is the perfect assist for Yuri. Use her with any st team for maximum effect.

[Ceremonial Flame] Hestia

I will mentally slap you if you use CF Hestia outside of WG. CF Hestia received a buff so that she didn’t just get powercrept by Ariadne. While this is an offensive assist list, CF Hestia is a defensive assist through and through. Use her in WG to try and prevent ailments from ruining your highly interactive WG experience.

Mana Point Recovery:

Non-Time Limited:

[Brains and Beauty] Eina Tulle

Yes, I’m putting MP Recovery in Offensive assists. MP Recovery Eina is used in teams of lower limit breaks to help alleviate some of the mp problems caused from low mp pools and high mp costs. Use her when you know for a fact using her will let you use an extra skill, and it doesn’t take away from your dmg output. I know you guys will never mlb her, so at non-mlb she gives 7 mp per turn, which is quite a bit. I should also mention that she boosts the dmg for any skills that increase their dmg from recovery buffs (looking at you Raul, and CD Tione).

Enemies’ Physical Resistance Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[Clumsy Detective] Anya Fromel

Detective Anya assist is the strongest phys res decrease in the game. At mlb, -20% phys resist means your phys attacking units will do 1.2x more dmg (or they will do more dmg). Great assist that gives the highest theoretical dmg output for phys units. Pair her with phys units for maximum effect (pair her with mag units for a useless assist).

[Black Rose] Hephaistios

BR Heph gives slightly lower dmg output compared to Anya (being only -15% phys res at mlb), but her enemies’ guard rate decrease (10%) means she gives higher consistency. Use her in events like WG or FE for higher consistency. Overall a great assist as well. Use with a phys team for maximum effect.

Time Limited:

[Day for Exploring] Hestia

Explorer Hestia is an interesting assist. She decreases the enemies phys and mag resist by 10%. Essentially, she is a resistance debuffer for mixed teams. Being able to be used in either mag or phys teams makes her flexible, but the lowered percentage means she is not as good as even the 3* versions of Anya or Hermes assist. Use her if you need the extra stats for survival, and can’t afford to use the other better version for their respective teams (or use her if you are using a mixed team).

[Uncontrollable] Titan Eren

WG cheese assist. Titan Eren is essentially a worse version of Anya in traditional player vs environment (pve) content as he only give a -15% phys res decrease at mlb. His true worth shines in his 45% chance to stun the enemy (at mlb). This means that if the enemy doesn’t have CF Hestia, Ariadne, or stun anklets they have a good chance of being stunned, losing a turn. Use him in a phys WG team for maximum effect (and pray for no CF Hestia, Ariadne or Stun anklets).

[In The End] Orna

Orna was already mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section above for more information.

[Chief Goddess] Hestia

DaL Hestia is an amazing WG assist. Lowering the enemies’ agi allows for your units to move first, giving you the chance to kill the enemy before they even get to move. Additionally, she reduces enemies’ phys res by 15%, making your phys units hit significantly stronger. A superb assist that will hold the place of top phys assist for WG. Use with phys units for maximum effect.

Enemies’ Magic Resistance Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[Banquet Attire] Hermes

Essentially just the version of Anya, but for mag teams. Take Anya’s tipbit and replace every instance of phys with mag and you are set.

[Golden Wheat] Demeter

Demeter is just the mag version of BR Heph. Replace all instances of phys with mag, and all instances of Anya with Hermes and you are set.

Time Limited:

[Dreaming Goddess] Hestia

NY 2018 Hestia has a pillow. A PILLOW. Officially best unit in the game Jokes aside, NY 2018 Hestia is really only used if you need both sleep resistance and enemies’ mag res decrease while not having enough assist slot for both. The +100% sleep res at mlb means you’ll never fall asleep (you insomnaic) and don’t have to worry about that ailment. Her -15% mag res debuff to enemies means less theoretical dmg compared to Hermes, but the sleep res against enemies that put your units to sleep is hella worth. Use her against enemies that put advs to sleep, and use mag dmg dealing units for maximum effect.

[Day for Exploring] Hestia

Explorer Hestia was already talked about above. Nothing more to add here.

[In The End] Orna

Orna was already mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section above for more information.

Enemies’ Elemental Resistance Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[Pure Bride] Syr Flover

Bride Syr was discussed in an earlier area. Please refer to the tipbit there for her information.

[Pajama Goddess] Hestia

PG Hestia (or Pajama Hestia ← I think this is more well known) is honestly only a WG assist. While she does decrease enemies’ thunder resist by 15%, her secondary effect is an ailment. Ailment assists (the assists that cause an ailment upon entering the battle) are ineffective against pve mobs since they are usually not affected by ailments. Use only with a thunder team in pve (so RB of FE) or with an ailment (or pseudo-ailment) team in WG for maximum effect.

Time Limited:

[Dark Divine] Riveria Ljos Alf

Halloween Riv is a fun assist. She lowers the enemies’ thunder resist by 15%, meaning she is an assist meant to boost thunder advs’ dmg. She also acts as a defensive assist, giving a party wide hp regen buff (15%). This means she is most effective on a thunder team that is lacking in some defenses, or just a team with a thunder unit and no healer. Pair her with thunder advs for maximum effectiveness.

[Elegant Queen] Freya

NY 2018 Freya was already previously mentioned. Please refer to her little tipbit above for more information.

[Living Dead Child] Bell Cranel

Halloween Bell was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to his tipbit above for more information. TL:DR, used with dark teams, or if you want a little more consistency with your crits and have no better crit assist.

[Handmade Elf] Eina Tulle

Val Eina was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her tipbit above for more details.

[Midsummer Maiden] Eina Tulle

Sum Eina lowers the enemies’ water resist by the same amount as Xmas 2017 Syr. Only use Sum Eina if you do not own Xmas 2017 Syr (or if your Xmas 2017 Syr isn’t mlb).

[Pure White] Syr Flover

Xmas 2017 Syr was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section above for more details.

Enemies’ Single Target Damage Received Increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Moonlight Reunion] Hestia

Movie Hestia was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information. Essentially, only use her with st attackers for events like RB and FE.

Enemies’ Area of Effect Damage Taken Increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Sacred Fire] Hestia

SF Hestia was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information.

Time Limited:

[Nomadic Bard] Ryulu

Ryulu is a wonderful offensive assist. She decreases the enemies aoe dmg resistance by 15%, making aoe teams stronger. Additionally, she also lowers the enemies’ guard rate (30%), meaning she also reduces the chance of your attacks being guarded. This is fantastic in events where you don’t have many runs (FE); however, she falls flat in WG when compared to SF Hestia due to her not having an agi buff and her not being an agi based assist (dex based). Use Ryulu either if she is mlb’d and SF Hestia is not or if you are using her in a pve team where agi is not a concern, but dmg consistency is.

Enemies’ Guard Rate Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[Golden Wheat] Demeter

Demeter has been discussed in a previous section. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information.

[Black Rose] Hephaistios

BR Heph has been discussed in a previous section. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information.

Time Limited:

[Nomadic Bard] Ryulu

Ryulu has been discussed in a previous section. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information.

Enemies’ Endurance Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[God of Origins] Ouranos

Ouranos is purely an enemies’ end decrease (15%). His usefulness is highly dependent on the endurance of the enemies. Use him if you are trying for just that extra little bit of dmg, and you know the enemy has a decent amount of end. ALso, lowering end lowers guard rate, so use

[All Aboard] Hestia

AA Hestia is actually more a defensive assist. Her main role is to give the party stun resist (100% at mlb). She also lowers the enemies’ end by 8% at mlb, but use her mainly for the stun resist. Use her against enemies that stun for maximum effect.

[Beautiful Admirer] Freya

Sleep version of AA Hestia. Replace all instances of stun with sleep in AA Hestia’s tipbit and you got Sleep Res Freya’s tipbit.

[Utmost Beauty] Freya

Charm version of AA Hestia. Replace all instances of stun with charm in AA Hestia’s tipbit and you got Charm Res Freya’s tipbit.

[Oni Demon] Loki

Seal version of AA Hestia. Replace all instances of stun with seal in AA Hestia’s tipbit and you got Seal Res Loki’s tipbit.

[Maharaja Elephant] Ganesha

I AM GANESHA! Jokes aside, Ganesha is the taunt version of AA Hestia (there seems to be a lot of copies). Replace all instances of stun with taunt in AA Hestia’s tipbit to get Taunt Res Ganesha’s tipbit.

Time Limited:

[Chained Reign] Ariadne

Chained Ariadne is a superb WG assist. She lowers the enemies’ str and end by 15%. Additionally, she also nullifies 3 ailments for the whole party. Because of this, she is a counter to Ailment teams in WG, while still being useful against phys rush teams. The decrease to enemies’ end means that your team will be hitting slightly harder against enemies. Use Ariadne on your WG team. For pve (or RB and FE) use her only against enemies that use physical attacks.

[Final Reminiscence] Ariadne

Dual Swords Ariadne is just Chained Ariadne but she lowers mag instead of str. Read Chained Ariadne’s tipbit but replace all instances of str with mag and physical with magical.

Special Attack Gauge Gain Increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Countess] Syr Flover

Countess Syr is an assist that is mainly used in FE now. Her SA gauge gain increase means that you can use a SA on turn 4, or a double SA on turn 7 (if she is non mlb). If she is mlb, you can achieve two single SA, leading to some crazy dmg in FE. Use her for scoring events where using multiple SA earlier is a necessity. Additionally, never use her on a sacrificial unit since her skill only affects the unit she is equipped to. Absolutely needed to score well in FE AoE stages.

Ailments:

Just some information for those people willing to read this. This section is mainly used in WG due to most pve enemies having immunity to any kind of ailment.

Non-Time Limited:

[Pajama Goddess] Hestia:

PG Hestia has been mentioned prior. Please read her little tipbit above for more information. TL:DR, just use her in WG for her potential sleep. Her sleep ability is absolutely useless in pve, so it’s usually not worth using anywhere outside WG.

[God of Wine] Dionysus

Dionysus is a fun unit. His only use is to take off a stack of any null ailment assist because of his guaranteed ailment proc. If he manages to get off his poison, then it’s a 10% max hp poison, not amazing. He also has an enemies’ heal rate decrease (25%) which reduces all healing received by the units affected by 25%. Because of this, he can also be used to counter content that heal, but usually it’s better to just burst the enemy down before they get a chance to heal using your SAs. Overall, he is most useful on ailment teams in WG. Please do not use him in any other content.

Time Limited:

[Summer Goddess] Hestia

Sum 2018 Hestia has been mentioned previously. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information. Essentially a guaranteed slow, which can win you games in WG.

[Uncontrollable] Titan Eren

Titan Eren was mentioned earlier in this guide. Please refer to his little tipbit above for more information.

[Princess] Crunchyroll-Hime

Hime was previously mentioned in this guide. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information. Essentially, she is Titan Eren, but instead of reducing the enemies’ phys res, she increases the party’s mag.

Enemies’ Heal Rate Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[God of Wine] Dionysus

Dionysus was mentioned previously in this guide. Please refer to his tipbit above for more information.

Defensive Assists:

Allies’ Physical Resistance Increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Valorous Elf] Eina Tulle

Elf Eina (this sounds weird) is an amazing defensive assists against physical damaging enemies. The majority of enemies use aoe attacks, so Elf Eina is very good against physical dmg dealing enemies. First of all, Eina increases the party’s phys resist by 15%. Furthermore, she reduces aoe dmg taken my allies by 10%. This means that, from what I mentioned about the majority of enemies’ attacks, Eina gets huge value as a defensive assist. Use her against physical dmg dealing enemies for maximum effect (especially Revis).

[Artless] Hephaistios

Presist Heph gives the entire team +15% phys res. She is essentially just a worse version of Elf Eina. Only use her against enemies that deal physical dmg. Additionally, use Elf Eina over her in almost all cases (even if Presist Heph is mlb and Elf Eina is not). Overall, not an amazing assist and can be ignored for the most part.

Time Limited:

[Filmic Goddess] Hestia

Kino Hestia (FG Hestia) is a good defensive assist. Apart from her +10% phys res at mlb, she also gives all allies +10% guard rate. This means that your advs on average will take less dmg due to higher amounts of guards and lower amount of pens (if you guard, you will not be penned and vice versa). Use Kino Hestia over Presist Heph. Elf Eina will still be better than Kino Hestia due to the more consistent dmg reduction from aoe attacks. Solid defensive assist.

[Holy Choir] Eina Tulle

Xmas 2017 Eina is also purely a defensive unit. While she only provides 10% phys res to the front line at mlb, she also reduces the enemies crit rate by 15%. While the crit rate decrease doesn’t seem like much, the enemies’ affected will virtually never crit, resulting in less rng in your battles. Additionally, 10% phys res is nothing to laugh at, as it means you only take 90% dmg from physical attacks. Use Xmas 2017 Eina if the enemy has more st attacks and seems to have a high crit rate. If neither are true, then Elf Eina is better than Xmas 2017 Eina.

Allies’ Magical Resistance Increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Banquet Dress] Loki

Banquet Loki is just the mag res version of Presist Heph. Replace every instance of phys res in Presist Heph with mag res and you are good.

Time Limited:

[Beloved Goddess] Hestia

Val 2019 Hestia is just flat out better than Banquet Loki. Alongside the +15% mag res buff, Val 2019 Hestia also decreases the enemies counter rate by 15%. The secondary effect is only useful against enemies that can actually counter. Use her over Banquet Loki if possible, unless Banquet Loki is mlb (and she is not) and the enemy does not counter.

Allies’ Elemental Resistance increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Azure Goddess] Hestia

Azure Hestia is an interesting unit. She increases all element resistances of your allies by 15% alongside their guard rate (also by 15% at mlb). This means Hestia will be a good defensive unit against any enemies that deal elemental dmg. The additional 15% guard rate helps further increase your defensive capabilities. Use her against enemies that deal elemental dmg if another strong defensive assist is required.

Enemies’ Critical Rate Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[Camellia Kimono] Tsubaki Collbrande

NY Tsubaki was mentioned in a previous section above. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information.

Time Limited:

[Holy Choir] Eina Tulle

Xmas 2017 Eina was mentioned in the previous section. Please refer to her section above for information.

Allies Guard Rate Increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Azure Goddess] Hestia

Azure Hestia was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section above for more information.

Time Limited:

[Filmic Goddess] Hestia

Kino Hestia was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section above for more information.

[In The End] Orna

Orna was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section for more information.

[Sharp Thinker] Armin Arlert

Armin is a superb defensive assist. In conjunction to increasing the party’s guard rate by 15%, he also lowers the enemies’ str by 15%. This means he is a great choice against phys dmg dealing enemies. Additionally, his high agi stat (547) means he is also a fantastic choice for WG teams. Use Armin against physical dmg dealing enemies, as well as use him in WG if you lack the -str Ariadne (chained Ariadne).

Enemies’ Strength Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[Paradise Mood] Hestia

PM Hestia is currently the highest str decreasing assist in the game. Reducing the enemies’ str by 20% at mlb, she is formidable and can essentially nullify phys dmg with other defensive assist. Additionally, her being a mag based assist means she boasts a decent amount of mag (580) and a huge amount of mp (230). Use her against phys dmg dealing enemies for maximum effect. Additionally, equip her on advs that require a lot of mp to spam their skills to allow those advs to freely utilise their skills for maximum effect.

Time Limited:

[Seaside Goddess] Hestia

Sum 2017 Hestia is essentially a str based version of PM Hestia. More agi, str and hp than PM Hestia, but mag, dex, and mp. Stick her on an adv that would like the str stats and also does not have a heavy mp usage.

[Sharp Thinker] Armin Arlert

Armin has been mentioned previously. Please refer to his section above for more information. If you manage to guard a lot due to Armin’s skill, he is a better enemies’ str decrease than the rest of the enemies’ str decrease assists in terms of pure defenses. If you are looking for more consistency, use Sum 2017 Hestia or PM Hestia for defensive assists, and Chained Ariadne for more offensive purposes.

[Chained Reign] Ariadne

Chained Ariadne was mentioned previously. Please refer to her tipbit above for more information.

[Jingle Bell] Hestia

Xmas 2017 Hestia is a not great anymore. Strength decreasing assists are mainly used in pve content; however, pve monsters usually do not counter. This makes Hestia’s counter rate decrease obsolete in pve content, and can be replaced by all other str decreasing assists. In WG, Xmas 2017 Hestia can have some merit, as decreasing str and counter rate means less chance for phys rush to kill turn 1 due to lowered dmg and deceased chance for extra attacks (from counters). Use Hestia in WG when in a phys dominated meta and you do not have Chained Ariadne.

Enemies’ Magic Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[Onsen Samurai] Yamato Mikoto

Onsen Mikoto is just the mag decrease version of PM Hestia; however, she is more like Sum 2017 Hestia due to her being a str based assist that reduces enemies’ mag by 20%. Use Mikoto against enemies that deal magical dmg with their attacks.

Time Limited:

[Summer Mischief] Syr Flover

Sum 2017 Syr is just Onsen Mikoto, but an end focused assist with lower hp and higher mp. Use her on advs who need more mp to fully achieve their potential. Also, please don’t use her against enemies that do not deal magical dmg.

[Final Reminiscence] Ariadne

Dual Swords Ariadne was mentioned previously. Please refer to her section above for more information.

Enemies’ Counter Rate Decrease:

Time Limited:

[Jingle Bell] Hestia

Xmas 2017 Hestia has been mentioned before. Please refer to her section for more information.

[Tricky Angel] Syr Flover

2017 Halloween Syr has been mentioned previously. Please refer to her section for more information. Her counter rate can be useful for WG, so consider using her in a mag team in WG.

[Beloved Goddess] Hestia

Val 2018 Hestia has been mentioned previously. Please refer to her section for more information.

Enemies’ Dexterity Decrease:

[Mummy Goddess] Hestia

Enemies’ Agility Decrease:

[Chief Goddess] Hestia

DaL Hestia was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section above for more information.

Allies’ Endurance Increase:

Non-Time Limited:

[Ceremonial Flame] Hestia

CF Hestia was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer to her section for more information.

[Pure-White Dress] Syr Flover

White Dress Syr (gonna call her Casual Syr) is really just bad. Only giving +20% end isn’t a really good skill as increasing end is the worst defensive buff in the game. While it does increase your def by 20% of your end, the dmg decrease from using her isn’t as strong as something like a +15% phys res assist, or a +15% mag res assist. Use her as a last resort assist if you need that extra defense to survive an attack.

[Festive Blade] Welf Crozzo

NY Welf is a dual ailments resist unit. Like all dual ailments resist assists, he increases end by 5% while giving 100% resistance to taunt and stun. While stun res can be nice for newer players, these ailment resistances are really only used in WG, and the extra 5% end is just a little extra given to his skills. Overall, he is not worth using and would recommend using a completely different assist.

[Sleeping Innocence] Artemis

So Pajama Artemis is useless to be honest. Her dual resistances are one of the worst in the game, resisting sleep and taunt. Do not use her unless you really need the extra 5% end (which trust me you don’t, just adjust your armor better) or the enemy actually inflicts sleep and taunt ailment.

Time Limited:

[Holiday Spirit] Syr Flover

Xmas 2018 Syr was the first of the dual ailments resist assists. While similar to Welf, she resists slow and seal. She actually is a pretty nice assist for Ottarl and Riv RB if you lack enough seal anklets and the RB seals. Again, the extra end is really just an added bonus. Apart from her one niche, she isn’t really needed.

Enemies’ Penetration Rate Decrease:

Non-Time Limited:

[God of War] Ares

Pic incoming eventually.

Ares is a better version of Detective Anya assist. Ares is amazing for his ability to make your team significantly more tanky than it should be as the enemy will have -20% crit and pen rate, meaning they should almost never pen you. At the same time, the -20% phys res means your team will do insane amounts of dmg to the enemy, making Ares one of the best assists to be released for phys attackers. Use Ares if possible, whether he be on a sacrificial unit, or on a main attacker (due to his interesting stat line of 540 str and 540 agi).

[Sacred Cup] Soma

Pic incoming soon

Soma is one of the best defensive assists in the game. -30% pen rate is a bit overkill, but the enemy will never pen your units, meaning your defensive buffs will not be nullified and are that much better. Additionally, his +15% hp regen makes your team survive longer if they survive to the end of each turn (which they will almost always do so, due to never being penned). Use Soma on teams that require another good defensive assist to survive, or want to stall out the enemy for as long as possible.

Allies’ HP Regeneration:

Non-Time Limited:

[Bunny Goddess] Hestia

Bunny Hestia is a pretty solid assist. While she isn’t the easiest to mlb due to casino being pretty rng, with good luck and time you can mlb her no problem. She gives an 18% hp regen to allies. While this is lower than the vanilla 20% hp regen assists from the gacha, it makes sense due to ease of mlb. Her dex focused stats aren’t the best, but it does allow for higher number of counters and crits, which is important in RB for score. Use her if you need a hp regen assist to survive longer (aka running a team with no healer) and if you have no better option (if your other hp regen assists heal less or aren’t as tanky).

[White Healer] Amid Teasanare

Amid is a mag based 20% hp regen assist. Throw her on a mag based attacker or support unit if you require more healing (aka if you lack a healer).

[Cyan] Naza Ersuisu

Pic incoming soon

Naza is a powercrept version of Amid assist. In addition to having higher stats than Amid and a 20% hp regen buff, she also has a heal and counter rate buff +10%. The heal rate buff increases the healing of her hp regen, making the true hp regen 22% rather than 20%, and the counter buff is absolutely needed for scoring in RB. Use Naza on teams where healing is lackluster, but counters are required (RB teams with Haruhime).

[Sacred Cup] Soma

Pic incoming eventually xD

Soma was mentioned in a previous section. Please refer his section above for more details.

Allies’ Nullify Ailments:
