Arknights Hellagur Operator Guide

Hellagur is a 6-star Enmity Guard. He has one of the highest Attack and Health stats among other guards, but his deployment cost is also the highest. Allies cannot directly heal him. Only indirect healing like Angelina’s Part-time Job talent would work. He does, however, recover a bit of his Health after every attack. He initially gains +30 Health Points after every attack, and that increases to +70 Health Points at Elite 2.

Talents

Waxing Moon

This talent increases Hellagur’s Attack Speed based on how much Health he has left.

At Elite 0, Attack Speed is increased +50 when Health is below 50%

At Elite 1, Attack Speed is increased +75 when Health is below 40%

At Elite 2, Attack Speed is increased +100 when Health is below 30%

Ingenious Strategist

Hellagur’s Health increases +60 per second when he is not attacking an enemy.

Skills

Crescent Moon 

This skill increases the damage dealt by his next attack, and he will attack twice in quick succession after every couple of single attacks. At Level 7, the attack is increased by 155%. At Maximum Mastery, the attack is increased by 175%. His two consecutive attacks make Hellagur recover twice the Health Points when using this skill.

Half Moon

Hellagur’s attack is scaled up, he gets to deal two hits, and his chance of dodging an attack is also greatly increased. At Level 7, his attack increases by 50%, and he gets 75% Physical Dodge. At Maximum Mastery, his Attack increases by 80%, and he gets 75% Physical Dodge. 

Full Moon

His Attack and attack range is increased as well as the number of enemies he can deal with simultaneously. At Level 7, his Attack increases by 70%, attack range +1 tile, and he can attack 3 enemies at once At Maximum Mastery, his Attack increases by 100%, attack range +2 tiles, and he can attack 3 enemies at once. 

This skill makes Hellagur deal AoE damage, unlike the first 2 skills. If 3 or more enemies are also within his attack range, he gains the Health Points after every strike thrice.

Base Skills

  • Release – Self Morale increases by +0.55 per hour when Hellagur is assigned to the Dormitory.
  • Break Loose – Mood recovery of all operators is increased by +0.1 per hour when Hellagur is assigned to that Dormitory.
  • Absolution – This is practically a combination of Release and Break Loose. Self Moral and mood recovery are both increased by +0.55 per hour and +0.1 per hour, respectively. 
  • Arts of War – The production rate byproduct is increased by 80% when Hellagur is assigned to the Workshop to process Skill Summaries.

Verdict

Hellagur is a unique and very useful operator because of his high attack and self-healing ability. You can deploy him in front of a Multi-blocker Guard or Defender for the heightened DPS. You also don’t have to worry about positioning him near your healers since he can’t be healed by allies anyway. He is a formidable operator you would want in your team.
