About me: Lily’s Flexing Corner

I’m just a casual player making guide when I wait for my stamina to refill itself.

For my credibility, I had cleared the main story with this rag tag team, so you can do it too.

Weapons are normal chapters’ rewards/drops with Eclair’s weapon came from ch1 EX reward. Asides from Cag, everyone else has no nodes unlocked.

And solo-ed Orochi: I know I said avoid Bercertia also this team is only good for solo stuffs

More comp that can solo Orochi can be found in #Template-Comp

Some abbreviations:

  • A1, A2, A3: Ability 1, 2, 3 (Passive skills of a character)
  • ATK: Attack power.
  • SD: Skill Damage.
  • PFlip: Power Flip.

Some terminologies:

  • Power flip: your flips change color every time you hit a certain number of combo

Rerolling:

As usual, we roll for strong DPS that can carry our asses early game into grinding and team building later.

Disclaimer: This list is strongly biased in my opinion because as of current, I am the sole creator of this doc, so just roll for your waifu instead.

So, Avoid

  • Bercetia: She needs to be maintained at low HP for maximum damage output, not recommended for new players. (She’s the strongest unit in the game if you can handle her)

Generally, people aim for 3 or more 5* in their first 20 pulls for their reroll (Or a Philia with 2 4* Wind). You can check the list below for what to aim for.

Personally, I only reroll for a cute 5* girl and run with her. (I got Cag)

What to aim for:

Philia:

  • 5* wind healer, strong wind leader skill (HP>60% == Wind Character’s ATK 115% up)
  • Grant floating to entire party which synergizes well with the current boss’ weapon: (When entire party is floating, wind characters attack +30% [MAX +60%])
  • Wind boss weapons can be farmed really early into the game. (Right after ch1)
  • Only viable if you can build a Wind team out of her.

Eclair:

  • Strong 5* light leader skill (HP>60% == Light Character’s ATK 115% up) + A3 (HP>80% == Light Character’s ATK up 80%) = 195% ATK boost when light team has above 80% HP
  • Fast skill charge along with strong buff for herself.
  • Need a regeneration buff to reach max damage potential.

&

Marina & Wagner(the dragon):

  • Strong 5* Fire leader skill that is geared toward power flip.
  • A1, A2, A3 synergize well with current boss’ weapon:(Resistance to wind +7.5% / Power flip damage +5% every 5 flips (up to 50%) [MAX + 15%/10%/Up to 100%])
  • Marina has a penetration bonus from her A3 every 20 flips compared to Wagner, she can summon minions so 20 flips for her come up quite often.
  • Strong and big AoE skills that can break make Fire the fastest Orochi-solo team currently

Clarisse:

  • Strong burst with stacked fire skill damage.
  • Best lead for Fire team, Marina & Wagner all have strong active skills.

Sonya:

  • Solid 5* Water leader with 90% ATK up at MAX(need to build up combo)
  • Extremely strong skill if you can position her in the right spot to bounce on the boss continuously.
  • Her skill needs Lazaret or other mass-buffers to reach maximum damage potential.

Veron:

  • Solid 5* dark leader (Dark character’s ATK up 65%)
  • Selfish but a solid Dark DPS.

Cagliostro

  • The all you need leader skill for lightning team (HP 10%, ATK 20%, SD 60%)
  • Really strong heal that build up over time. (A1)
  • Decent AoE range with really strong damage skill if aim correctly.
  • Non-discriminate A1 and A2 means she’s a good support for any team.

Inaho

  • The fever lightning team leader (Fever mode time 30%), strong synergy with Nepteim as support.
  • Strong Lightning Characters’ ATK up (55% total from Leader skill + A1)

Silty

  • Good leader skill but not as good as Philia.
  • Selfish A1 and A2.
  • No synergy with current boss’ weapon. Laby Weapon changed everything.
  • She is now the core of Combo Wind Team along with Philia
  • Philia x 2 other wind units is still better than Silty x 2 other wind units.

Nepteim & Leon & Lazaret

  • Good to have but works better alongside a strong damage dealer, not a team carry.

Suizen

  • Worse than some 3* because Poison doesn’t scale with anything.

After reroll:

After you got your starter units, proceed to clear the main story to unlock all boss battles so you can begin to the weapon farm.
(If you got a Philia + 2 4* Wind you can go straight to weapon grinding for your first team after chapter 1, assuming you can slay the boss)

Weapons obtained from clearing World 1-6 Normal:

  • World 1: Entire party HP +10%
  • World 2: Entire party ATK +15%
  • World 3: Multiball’s HP +10% and Multiball’s ATK +10%
  • World 4: When there’re 3 party members of different race , entire party ATK +30%
  • World 5: Fever Mode Time +5%, Fever Mode: All party ATK power +25%
  • World 6: +10% damage dealt to weak element

For story progression, if you’re stuck in 1 node, go back to chapter 1 and progress with its EX mode for premium currency then try that node again after your characters had gained some levels

Or alternately do this to boost your character’s level:

For your gems, you can either:

  1.  Pull in this banner to cover every element with 3x 4* and up units.
  2. Or wait for next banner.

Daily Routine:

1.1 Daily Quests:

1.2 Daily Grind-Fest:

Everyday you get 3 charges of bonus reward for dungeon drops and 3 charges for boss battle drops. You’re free to choose when you want to use them, and if you fail/quit a stage, they will be refunded.

So try to use all 3 on the highest difficulty.

Note that XP dungeon and Elemental dungeon shares the charges!

  • It’s better to spend the boost on node materials than XP dungeon.
  • Then spend your stamina in XP dungeon for your main team until they can comfortably do hard boss battle

1.3 Month Grind-Fest:

  • Minimal grind per month, Get these in boss shop:

Just the 2 that costs 10 tokens for weapon, the 50-token weapons are the same as the 10-token just cost more, for people who want to boost their team strength quickly.

Get the character too if you want them, these are not in the gacha pool, else ignore.

  • Medium Grind(?)

Get these too but your element of choice. Totally worth it, can fully unlock A1 and A2 of a character + Skill node and A3 node.
  • Maximum grind? Just get everything.

Ability Enhance Materials / XP+Green Gem(Gold) Grinding:

  • Elemental Gems dungeon changes every day:
  • Monday: Light, Tuesday: Fire, Wednesday: Water, Thursday: Wind, Friday: Lightning, Saturday: Dark
  • Gold & XP dungeon is always up.
  • Sunday: All Elemental Dungeons will be available.
  • For Gold & XP Dungeon you’ll can join and quit immediately to change the elemental advantage needed for the stage (doesn’t cost stamina).
  • Just join and quit until this little icon matches your team’s element. For example: I have a Lightning team, so I want it to be Lightning like this:

Enhancing Units:

1.2 Duping:

Raise level cap and give HP%, ATK%

1.3 Mana Board: (I’m not sure what the official name is)

There are 4 big nodes that unlocks A1, A2, A3 and upgrade active skills. They come in various shapes depending on the character’s race and the effect of the ability.

However the skill node will always look like this:

The other nodes are varies: & for a few examples.

You can click on them and check their names to know which is which:

Like this one is A3.

Also the small nodes belong to the big nodes before it, they upgrade the same ability like in this picture:

For character rising priority:

  • Sub characters only need A1 and A2 maxed out, and skill node unlocked.
  • Main characters need A1 and A2 maxed with A3 and skill node unlocked.
  • Small nodes for A3 and skill node are really expensive, so unlock them with care. Ask other people if you are not sure which one to invest too.

Combat System:

1.1 Character Type:

That is your character type.

The Character Type of your leader will affect your power flip effects:

Sword: Lvl 1-2 (Yellow and Green) Spinning, bigger attack range and faster attack rate. Lvl 3 (Silver) Ultra big spinning + penetration. Great for building up combo.

Bow: 1-shot laser attack, really wide range Lvl 1 -> 3 increases the width of the laser. Great for breaking bosses. Bow P.Flip level 1 does 3 hits, then your party will attack another 3 hit you can tap after that for another 3 hit to get back P.Flip level 1.

Wand: Lvl 1-2 (Yellow and Green) Grants ATK+, Penetration, and Float buffs. (These activates weapons’ effects). Lvl 3 (Silver) AoE damage to all the enemies exist on the map. Great for breaking and high AoE damage.

Fist: Stick to the first contacted target and deals multiple hits on a single-target after a short delay. Really bad for breaking bosses but has great single target DPS (especially with team focus on powerflip and ATK boost).

Note for Fist: someone said Lvl 1 P.Flip deals 10 hits.
Star: Generate a circle AoE around the character upon contact. The duration for this P.Flip is really long, you can flip hit -> hit wall then fall down -> flip again and can still hit an enemy with the previous P.Flip.

1.2 Co-op:

You can use skills to chain it with other people’s skill to do an extra attack that will instantly down the boss:

^ Number of chain

^ Chain popping

For more advanced stuff, you can look up the information in discord.

Team Building UI:

Support Units give a portion of their stats to the Main Unit so I don’t recommend using 3* as Support Unit until they’re high on Dupes.

Weapon System:

Each weapon is unique and can only be equipped by 1 character in the same team. For example:

I have 2 copies of this weapon (the little icon in bottom right corner means you have 1 dupe) but I can’t equip it on both of my Cagli and Inaho, I had to use a different one.

1.1 Limit Breaking Weapons:

Weapon dupes are instead used to limit break the weapon to rise stats, special effect modifiers, and provide you a weapon soul orb.

Navigate to your weapon box:

And tap on the weapon you want to limit break to open this dialog:

You need 5 of the same weapon to MLB it:

1.2 Soul Orbs:

There are 2 ways to get Soul Orbs:

    • Each Limit Break on your weapon gives you 1.
    • Destroying your weapon also gives you 1.

  • Destroying a MLB weapon will also give you only 1 same orb.
  • Soul orbs you get from elemental weapons are elemental locked, and can only be equipped by characters of the same element.

This is the Soul Orb that you get. These have elemental requirement for the effect if you get it from elemental weapons.

Soul Orb will not activated when you put your character in Support Slot, so at most you only need 3 for each element.

(Your orbs will be consumed if you equip it into your character. So use these carefully)

Soul Orbs are listed in your item inventory, just scroll down a bit:

1.3 Equipping Soul Orb:

Go to your character enhancing node’s menu, and look for this black box:

Click on the yellow button and select the orb that you want to use:

A side note: if you see the flashed U I circled on any skill in this menu, that means the effect of that node doesn’t activated in Support Slot (The game calls it Union Unit), and vice versa.

<<Yeah my phone battery is dying because I AFK in-game to take too many screenshots>>

Weapon Grinding:

1.1 Grinding Method:

For weapon grinding, it is best to find 2 other people to mutual follow and exchange host with them to grind for boss’ tokens.

With this a person can farm a boss 3 times while only spend stamina once.

Alternately, you can wait for the bell on top left corner turn to turn blue and click on it to accept distress signals from other players. This cost 0 stamina & you can do it in the middle of solo-run too.

1.2 Boss Battle:

This is where you go for hosting Boss Battle:

Each boss has a normal mode(below) and a hard mode(above), excluding Owl:

  • Normal yields Silver Coins.
  • Hard yields Gold Coins.

1.3 Boss Token Shop:

In the left picture is the boss weapon shop, each color represents a different element (Red -> Fire, Green -> Wind, etc…)

In the right picture, right next to the gold coins are what we want right now, 5* elemental weapons, there’re upgrade materials below too if you scroll it down.

  • Silver Coins can be obtained by slaying boss battle normal mode.
  • Gold Coins can be obtained by slaying boss battle hard mode. (unlocked after clearing normal mode).

The shop resets every month so try your best to clear all the shops.

Template Comp:

For Orochi Solo, you can look up this spreadsheet made by someone in the Reddit Discord Waafuri:
