π Key terms
The key terms refer to game mechanics. You will encounter them ingame.
πͺ Community terms
These terms were coined by the community and arenβt official game terms. You will see them being used in discussions between players. Many of them are either abbreviations or nicknames, some being based on jokes or running gags.
πΎ Japanese server
Indicates these terms describe cards or mechanics currently only implemented on the Japanese game server. You might encounter them in discussions, but they are generally not relevant to the world wide version.
ACT π: This gameβs attack stat. The base of the damage calculation.
Adcha πͺ: Refers to the free video gacha. You can watch video ads to gain free gacha pulls from a limited pool of cards. A feature exclusive to the world wide server.
Amaya πͺ πΎ:
Amaterasu Maya.
A seasonal character able to inflict a special kind of burn.

Anthem πͺ / Song π: Moves that grant a positive effect (buff) but deal no damage.
AoE πͺ: Area of effect. Refers to moves that affect all allies or all enemies.
AP π: Action points. Moves naturally occuring on a card can cost 1, 2 or 3ap. At the start of each turn, you get dealt a hand of 5 moves. You can use moves worth up to 6ap each turn.
Aquarium πͺ: A 4β memoir. Grants 28 starting kirameki/brilliance. When fully upgraded (MLB), it will grant 40 instead.
Arthkaren πͺ:
Arthur Karen.
A fest limited card. Mostly known for being able to apply counter heal, an effect that makes her team heal when getting hit.

Auto Skill π: Passive skills on stage girls that automatically grant effects. The first one is unlocked straight away, the second one when reaching rank 4 and the third and last one is tied to the rightmost square on the rank 9 board.

Barrier π: Shields that provide protection from either normal or special type damage. They expire after a set number of turns or break after they absorbed their maximum amount of damage (dependant on effect source).
Blind π: Negative status effect. Hits from characters affected by it have a 70% chance to miss. On-hit effects are still applied.
Bottom-left πͺ: Surrendering via the button located in the bottom left corner of the screen to exit a stage. Often used to describe giving up on a match in annoyance.
Brilliance / Kirameki π: Also abbreviated as kira. The special attack gauge located beneath a stage girls health bar. When the gauge is filled to 100 kira, the character can enter Climax Revue to cast their Climax Act. You gain kira from some memoirs, attacking or taking damage, as well as special effects during a fight. In PvP, each character enters the fight with 50 kira collected. In PvE, they gain a certain amount after each wave.

Burger King / BKRuko πͺ:
Black Lion Nation General Kaoruko.
A character from the standard gacha pool. Was part of the initial 12 cards available at game launch. A memoir granting her 40 starting brilliance and her 3rd Auto Skill allow her to enter Climax Revue on the first turn.

Burn π: Negative status effect. Deals a certain amount of damage at the end of each turn. The damage can be stacked by applying multiple burn effects, but wonβt break dodge stacks. Additionally decreases the affected characters ACT by 10%, this does not stack.

CA / CX π: Climax Act. The special move a character can use when reaching 100 kira.

Chopper πͺ: Characters dealing heavy single target damage. They βchopβ the target down. Also used to describe teams primarily centered around that strategy.

ChouKiraFes / Super Brilliance Fest π: A type of kirafes gacha where the rate for 4β stage girl cards is multiplied by 2.5. This brings the rate to 3%.

Cindelala πͺ:
Cinderella Lalafin.
A character from the standard gacha pool. Many players keep her agility low and use her Climax Act which grants dodge and a speed up to the whole team to prevent FA damage.

Cloudine πͺ:
Knight of the Black Lion Nation Claudine.
A 3β character from the standard gacha pool. Can be used as a tank. Her nickname is a pun based on her element, cloud, and the name of the character, Claudine.
Cockroach / Roach πͺ:
Lu Bu Mei Fan.
A character from the standard gacha pool. Notable for her high damage output. She got her nickname due to her evasive nature in PvP and her Armor and headbands resembling the shell and antennae of a cockroach. Do note it is a slightly derogatory term for a card made after a historical figure, so you might want to use her real name.

Confusion π: Negative status effect. The affected character has a chance to apply a single hit to a randomly selected character on her team instead of using a move.
CR π: Upon reaching 100 kirameki with any character, you can enter a two-turn Climax Revue. A character will participate in it by either having their kirameki gauge charged during the CR start, or by using their Climax Act (CA) during it. Participation is marked by the kirameki gauge turning white. Characters participating in your CR will gain your song’s [CR] effects as well as 10% additional ACT Power. Participating characters lose all their kirameki at the end of CR. Upon CR’s end, if there are 2 or more characters participating, FA will trigger.

Dodge / Evasion π: When a character is hit by an attack, a dodge stack is consumed, and the damage from that hit is prevented. On hit effects still apply, and moves that hit multiple times can clear more than one dodge stack. Hits missed due to Blind wonβt consume a dodge stack. If the attacking character is affected by focus, the dodge will be consumed normally, but the attack will do damage.

Dreameme πͺ: A team containing two or more characters of the dream element. The aim is to hit the opponent with a dream FA. Received its name due to the high risk high reward nature of this strategy.
Drakuro πͺ:
Dracula Claudine.
A fest limited card. A blind-immune character able to apply Absorb in various ways while having a chance to cause sleep to all enemy targets.

Dupe πͺ: Duplicate of a card you already own. If the dupe is a stage girl, her US level will increase by 5, and you will receive Creation Jewels based on her rarity. If it is a memoir, multiple copies can either be used individually, or fused to increase the effect.

Enmity πͺ: Type of attacks that deal increased damage based on the attackerβs Current HP%.
FA / Finishing Act πͺ π: At the end of the second turn of CR, if two or more participating characters are alive, they will perform a Finishing Act. It deals normal damage based on the participating characters ACT, and is of neutral element. If two or more participants are of the same element, you can perform an elemental FA with an increased damage coefficient.
FesRuko πͺ:
Tamatsubaki no Kimi Kaoruko.
A fest limited card. Known for attacking the back 3 enemies as well as increasing the AP cost of opponent moves with her CA.

Fish / Fish Idol / FesChie πͺ:
Ryugu Dance Ichie.
A fest limited card. Immune to the stop effect. Famously used to fight Arthur Karen in the Challenge Revue game mode.

Focus / Perfect Aim π: Characters affected by focus are able to ignore the damage mitigation of blind and dodge. When hitting a character with dodge, dodge stacks are removed as if they blocked incoming damage. If the affected character participates in a FA, it will not be affected by Focus and can be dodged.
Freeze π: Negative status effect. Affected characters are prevented from using moves. A hit dealt to the frozen character will break the freeze and deal increased damage.
Floof πͺ:
Tamamo-no-mae Maya.
A fest limited card. Her climax act will deal 10 hits distributed at random to all available targets, each having a 20% chance to apply stop.

Fukko πͺ πΎ:
Fuma Kotaro Yuyuko.
A fest limited card. Able to apply poison, dodge, and deal large damage with her climax act.

Group π: Stage girls are organized as part of either the front , middle ,
or back group, giving a rough idea of their position within the unit. Moves that describe their targeting as a specific group will target all girls part of that group in the team.
Guts / Fortitude π: When a character affected by guts is hit with lethal damage, it will be consumed and the character will survive the hit with 1 HP remaining. A character will not gain kirameki from damage survived via guts.
Halloruko πͺ:
Mischievous Bat Witch Koruko.
A seasonal limited card. Applies stop with her climax act.

Happy πͺ:
Greenhorn Captain Aruru.
A character from the standard gacha pool. Able to grant 20 kirameki to the entire team, this move is also referred to as happy. Her climax act is a combination of stat buffs, greatly increasing damage and speed of all allies.

Kirafes / Brilliance Fest π: Special type of gacha. The rate to pull 4β characters is increased to 2,4% and fest limited cards can be obtained. Also exists as the variation Chou Kirafes / Super Brilliance Fest, where the rate is increased to 3% instead.
Kurodin πͺ:
Aladin Claudine.
A character from the standard gacha pool. Deals increased damage to beast type monsters.
MLB πͺ: Maximum limit break. Refers to the bound break feature, using duplicates of a memoir to increase its maximum level. After combining 5 copies and reaching MLB, the effect of the memoir will increase.
Musk πͺ: Musketeer. Refers to 4 of the initial 4β characters at launch, Musketeer Hikari, Karen, Mahiru, Junna. (MusKaren, MusKari, MuskJunna, MuskHiru)
PvE / PvP π: PvE stands for Player vs Environment, where the player faces off against AI-controlled enemies.
PvP stands for Player vs Player, where the player faces off against another playerβs team in real time.
Poison π: Negative status effect. Deals a set amount of damage to the affected character at the end of each turn. Can be stacked multiple times. The damage will not consume a dodge stack.
