Quick halloween ranking guide
Preface:
- Fixed TEAM, 5 floors, no skyfall and a gimmicky leaderskill many aren’t used to. Luckily this is actually a really easy ranking which hopefully most won’t mind running.
- TPAs are boosted to 500 pts and ARE WORTH going for, and because of the leaderskill you usually have to make at least one.
- If possible, always go for an extra (usually 8th) combo over something like a TPA, as each combo is roughly worth 1000pts.

How to play:
- Because TPAs are worth, the way you want to match is kinda similar to something like Reiwa or base Noctis.
- There are two ways to activate: 7c or 5 or less orbs, either of which will kill floors 1-4 but not the floor 5.
- For the 5 orbs or less, you either make an 8c with a TPA or 9c, so going for TPAs and maxing out at 7 combos is usually the best way to go.
- Perhaps the easiest way to run this dungeon, moreso for non crown runs is just going for 7c every floor, no style points or anything, and of course fully activating on the last floor.
- One such matching strat is a 3 match of heal or water orbs (only color w/o a TPA on the team) and stack 3 TPAs on top of it, like this:
- From there, you can make 3 matches to full combo out the board or do the exact same thing again with a 3 match and more TPAs above/below it. Always prioritize the 7c.
Floor strats:
- Floors 1, 2, and 4: No mechanics on any of these — best to just combo as fast as you can and make as many TPAs as possible.
- Floor 3: fully blind board, which is probably the hardest part. There are a couple ways to go about this floor, those being:
- Just regularly combo and unblind everything, you can just make 7 combos then drop orb for the easiest time.
- Use a Z8 and unblind the middle while shooting for 5 combos. You may need to separate part of one of the rows made by Z8 to get the 7th combo.
- Floor 5: you need to fully activate both the 7c and 5 orbs or less. There’s also a massive time debuff so use bastet unless you’re a masochist. There are also a couple ways to do this floor:
- Natural combo like the previous ones. You’ll need to get 4 TPAs alongside the 7c to fully activate, which may be board RNG but isn’t too unreliable.
- Use HCotton and 6c. This may be a little tougher than just natural comboing for some and it’s for sure slower.
- Using Misery and whether or not you want to use Bastet is up to you, as all you need to make is 6 matches and 1 TPA.

- On any floor, it’s never a bad idea to use Vampire Lord as replacing the hearts gives potentially more pts/combos if you make dark TPAs as well as makes the solve easier. I personally like using him fl1 since there’s no time to examine the board.
