Part 2 of the Luhua Landscape questline will ask you to search for a strange rock before you can proceed. This guide assumes that you have already gotten the brushes of Vermeer.
Vermeer’s Request
After returning to Vermeer after finding his painting tools, he will ask you to search for a strange rock. From where you took on the quest, head a bit north to the lake and start looking for items that emit the same sparkle as the materials earlier.
You can search around three areas within the lake area, but it’s almost always the third one with the strange stone. It is your choice if you want to clear out the enemies around, but you may return to Vermeer to proceed with the quest once you have gathered the stone.
It’s a pretty straightforward quest, and the only possible difficulty you might have is maneuvering around the enemies to pick up the stone. But once you get over that part, you should be fine.
