Current state of PvC
Major changes in PvC team due to recent update
- Nerf with (Change neutral damage to non neutral and removable shield)
- Nerf with (And SOI is currently broken, Thanks Toast)
- New SBWs
- Two missing goddess buff.
In short, Thorin mew has been nerfed significantly. Still deadly but can be counter with . Hanzo is still powerful due to armor penetration debuff. but can be counter with at some degree.
This changes has been an example how op Neutral damage is and people are slowly moving to other neutral damage heros.
Current OP PvC hero
The Return of The Queen
She was still powerful before, but after Thor nerf, she reclaims the fastest spike damage.
Her SBW increases survivability and damage at the sametime.

He is back, and he is scary. Currently, there are only two counters I can think of and even that is not sufficient enough for PvC. Possibly nerf incoming?
Recommended heroes (more you have, more easy pvc becomes)
6 star hero, minimum 3+, Good weapon (at least 75% of max stats)
1. Other heroes are neglected because they require some dedication to use. (another word, pain in the ass)
2. Some hero, SBW is not required but it’s always better to have it, WITH RIGHT AFFIXES.
3. Some hero DO require SBW, otherwise they are useless without it.
4. All skills should be Transcendent

Neglected heroes
Some people complain why their fav hero isn’t on the list.
Reason? Cause it’s kinda annoying to make it work.

Generally, speaking
ATK A/R Pen > HA> CD
DEF DR = A/R > HP
FUC CC > AS > LS
But it isn’t true for all case. Also depends on preferences.
HA 28.75% ~ 3+ training.

The Rule of thumb for PvC
1. Stunners are the king. Still…
No matter how strong your team is, if you get stunned you are doomed. While a hero is in stun, no block is used and (with long enough stun) will ignore blocks on the quene.
The reason why was considered to be OP was because you can trigger the stun by one block. (now requires two separate blocks)
To go against stunners, Use or stun first, or kill the stunner quickly.
2. Kill fast and furious
One advantage you have against computer is one block of Goddess skill. If other team doesn’t have proper tanks, just burst them down with fast spike dealers and .
Question you should ask here is “Can I bring down one or two heros within 5 sec?”
3. Team synergy
Putting bunch of OP heros doesn’t make a good team. The team with a good synergy makes a OP team.
Long time ago rule the PvC because all passive activates each other’s passive. Then Toast decide to nerf them and no one knows where Robin Hood went.
The point is to maximize team synergy to increase damage or tankiness.
Good synergies are listed below.
4. Know thy enemy
And use the counter team.
Not a single team guarantee a 100% win rate. Finding right team and right goddess is a key to victory.
Few examples are listed below.
5. Know thyself
Having 6* is not enough, especially at master PvC rank. Training and good weapon can be heaven or hell difference.
3+ training is the optimal beyond that would give diminishing return per investment.
Sometime SBW is worse than regular 6* weapon. So when you do make SBW to 6* make sure it is right affix and have optimal stats on it.
Synergy
Block gen 3-Chain
Mid late continuous damage
+ 3-Chain leader (example:)
Mew with tEG generate a lot of block for leader and also more block means more SP and goddess skill.
This synergy really shine with Wizard tMR due to obvious reason.
The downside is that it takes time to build up block spam.
This can be compensate with a front tanker.
Block gen 1-Chain
Mid burst damage
+ 1-Chain sub (example:)
Yeo generate blocks for other allies.
As leader with tEG, she can proc 1-chain chaser without much problem.
Again, it takes time to build up, better to have tanker in the front.
One chain spammer
Mid late continuous damage
+ 1-Chain sub (example:)
Himiko’s chain has a chance to produce 3 chain and debuff enemies.
Very effective against continuous dealer.
But very weak against high burst damage.
Because of block troll, should bring tanker to absorb some damages.
Glass cannon
Very Early burst damage
+ 1-Chain sub(example:)
Do or die team, high firepower chaser team.
Lilith do excellent 3 chain generator.
Very fragile, also very susceptible to block troll.
No point of bringing tanker, should focus maximising burst damage.
Semi glass cannon
Early mid burst damage
+ 1-Chain sub()
No synergy but rely on 1 chain spam damage.
With tank can last longer but already should have taken out one or two enemy.
Need good weapon and training.
Buff enhance team
Early mid burst damage
+ Buff required leader (example:)
Some hero’s passive do require buff to shine.
Drake is a great hero to provide a buff (CC) with only one-chain.
However, this team are fragile and somewhat block troll.
So either bring tanker, or extra damage to burst early ASAP.
Tank team
Mid late continuous damage
+ 1-Chain sub (example: )
Korin’s shield (by her 3 chain) is can be extremely tanky.
So this team has very good survivability and late damage.
However very fragile to very early burst damage (before korin’s 3 chain).

How to counter
Now you have good teams to use.
But no team is perfect, there are always counters.
A key point is finding the synergy and breaking it.
Here are the list of the most common team you see in PvC
Thorin
Thorin team is non-contract only, and still viable.
With Korin’s SBW, it becomes hard to kill. (now removeable)
With Thor’s SBW, it’s really hard to block burst damage without tank
To counter
Use remove korin’s shield.
Use , but remember to bring good damage dealer to kill off them first. Once Korin mew chain going, with goddess spam, you are in big trouble.
Possible counter team:
Himiko/Dart
Usually this team will have full SBW. Meaning Himiko’s SBW will nerf incoming damage while Dart’s SBW continuously knockbacks your team and roland will stun once in awhile.
To counter
Use / to heal back or reduce damage of Dart or make them float all the time.
with SBW is the best counter against himiko. Because her SBW gives heal for every debuff, your team will be healed every time.
Aslo is very good counter against (even two of them). Just becareful of stun.
Can take them out but need to have proper tank and stun immunity.
If you don’t have maria’s sbw, Roche or Lilith using is another option.
Possible counter team:
Cano
Cano itself isn’t scary, heck cano mew isn’t scary. But when you have tanker in front, we have a problem.
Cano can literally one shot whole team if not careful and follow by lasers of doom.
To counter
/There is no point of debuffing cano or anything. if you take it too long you lose.
Bring with high resistance weapon. He will buy some time to bypass front tanker.
But also make sure bring burst team or backliner to kill
Possible counter team:

Stanya
This quite a tricky team to handle. Stanya can tank with debuff immune and have decent damage with bonus of stun. (with her SBW, it gets worse)
Same time can’t ignore chaser on the back.
To counter
Debuff won’t work, so either bring to increase evasion or to maximise damage
Bring stunner, or as long as continuously stunned, no damage or stun will be given.
Also bring or to at least prevent stun.
Possible counter team
Kriem
Kriem can be scary if she lands 3 chain (especially with SBW) but she is quite fragile. So people bring either alex or roland to cover her.
Mew is there to to provide continuous 3 chain and could be instead a chaser.
To counter
Kriem damage can be minimized by or .
or will absorb damage and stun for short while but not for long.
Bring to knockback so that will never reach you.
Possible counter team
Viper
Viper team is design to give highest burst damage in shortest time.
But also very fragile.
To counter
can be used to prevent burst damage. But probably only once.
If the tanker is not highly trained or non existence, just bring it down with bursts. (The 2nd rule of thumb)
If the tanker looks hard to bring it down, bring a good front tank with backliners
Possible counter team:
Lilith
Lilith, 90% of time, have tMS. If you can’t block it, you are going to lose.
To counter
Time it right, use when lilith cast mana storm (when lilith is raise her staff to top of her head)
If you can block that mana storm, you will win.
Just to be safe bring stunners like or backline who can by debuff alex and joan .
Possible counter team:

In paper, this team is really scary. In reality, one big problem.
To counter
counter this team so hard.
Just bust them down, drake isn’t very tanky without his shield. (which can’t be easily up with Anut on.)
or you can bring and kill you will win.
Possible counter team:
Purchasing PvC Bonus
Usually people who want to save gold, should never buy these.
But sometime, Gems are more important and you are 10 min away from the finishing line.
3 purchasable bonus for PvC
Add block: start with 2 leader blocks
Must go for spike team or teams that relies on 3 chain (like )
Accelerate block: accelerate block creation speed by 20%
Looking for longer flight or mirror match.
Any team will get the edge for this and it’s very pricy.
SP Recovery: start by recovering 50 SP all allies
Only useful for Skill reliance heroes (mostly wiz )
