Ultimate Awakening
Ultimate awakening is only available for 6 star heroes. Heroes gain a 7th star,a cosmetic aura (see above), an extra PvE only skill, and a slight stats boost. However, Ultimate Awakening is not available to all heroes at the time of writing. More heroes will become available over time. If you want to know which ones are available, then go to the in-game museum and check if the hero has the ultimate awakening materials displayed.

How to Ultimate Awaken a Character
Prerequisites:
- Character is 6 star
- 40 Specific Gem Type
- 4 Extreme Souls
Once you have the materials, go to Ultimate Awakening > Ulti-Awake >Choose the hero you want to awaken > Press Extreme Awaken
Note: You can only awaken 1 hero per week.
How to Get Gem and Extreme Soul
There are 3 methods to obtain gems.
Method 1
In Ultimate Awakening > Transform, you are able to trade 1 of ANY hero shard(excluding mystery shards) for 2 specific type of gem shards. You can convert up to 500 hero shards per week. Each week you are given a choice of 3 different types of shard out of 9 possible types. The 3 available choices and the 500 shard limit will refresh at the beginning of every week. You can also pay diamonds to manually refresh the 3 gem choices. 100 gem shards can be combined into 1 full gem.
This method costs 50 hero shards per gem. It’s the cheapest method, but takes the longest due to the possibility of not getting the shard you want after refresh. You can gain up to 10 gems per week with this method, which will cost 500 hero shards per week.
Method 2
Go to shop > Scroll down to gem shop > Buy the packages with heroic emblems. You can buy a total of 5 packages per week. This package allows you to choose any 1 of the 9 possible gem types. It’s a guaranteed way of getting the type of gem you need without relying on RNG from refresh every week.
It takes 68 heroic emblems per gem, and heroic emblems can be obtained by selling shards of 6-star heroes that you own. This method is the average of the 3 methods. It’s the second cheapest, the slowest, but guarantees you the correct type of gem you need.
You can get 5 gems per week with this method, which will cost 340 heroic emblems.
Method 3
Bag > Others > Click on 6-star hero’s shards>Dismantle. This method has no limit on how many you can dismantle per week. You can dismantle 5000 every week if you want. However, this method converts hero shards into gem shards at a 1:1 ratio, and can only convert the shards of heroes that are already 6-star. It’s the most expensive of the 3 methods, but could also be the fastest. When converting this way, the shard you get is different for each hero.
It takes a total of 100 6-star hero shard for 1 gem. No limit.
Note: For NA/EU/CN, dismantling the shard this way does not give you the same type of gem shard that specific hero uses. For example, in the above picture, Lucifinil uses Creation Gem, yet dismantling her shard gives Holy Gem instead.
For SEA/TW, dismantling the shard this way does give you the same type of gem shard that specific hero uses.
How To Get Extreme Soul
Extreme soul can be converted using the normal awakening soul at a 1:1 ratio by going to Ultimate Awakening > Ulti-Awake. Future events also can sell you Extreme Soul from the event shops.
Which Method Should I Use?
If you want the cheapest option and don’t mind waiting for several weeks, go with method 1. This method will require only 2000 of any hero’s shards.
If you don’t mind spending a little bit more to reduce the time required, go with method 1 and 2. By using method 1 for 3 weeks and method 2 for 2 weeks, it will cost 2180 shards total, with 680 of those being 6-star hero’s shards.
If you are really impatient and able to spend anything you want, go with all three methods. Use method 1 to get 10 gems, then method 2 to get 5 gems, and method 3 to get the last 25 gems. This will cost 3340 hero shards, with 2840 of those being 6-star hero’s shards.
How Much Would It Cost For Me?
To know how much it would cost, simply use the following equations:

H = shards for converting using method 1, any hero shard excluding mystery shards
E = buying package using method 2, 6 – star hero shards/ heroic emblems only
S = direct conversion using method 3, 6 – star hero shards

And then just get 4 Extreme soul from either events or direct awaken soul conversion.
