Tested Team:
This section is for your beta-tested set-up team.
(All skills unlocked with runes equipped against various enemies in quests and battle nodes at appropriate level. Or PvP team against appropriate opponents)
Vivian
Despite using fortitude tokens in-game as promote materials, she’s a pure Mid-game DPS excels in both AoE and Single Target.
Cons:
Her tankiness heavily relies on equipments and runes’ stats, without good gears she can be really squishy.
Performance when alone:
- Holy Blade gives decent AoE dmg.
- Windbreak Stigmata and Holy Combo do excellent damage starting from mid game. Windbreak Stigmata also inflict Fragility(enemy receives 10% more
- damage). The
- Rune set: Ice Coffin of Eternity adds a DEF down debuff onto Holy Blade. All target hit by Holy Blade will have their DEF reduced by 30%(Rune Lv.8) and by 60%(Rune Lv.9). This makes her scale really well into late game when you begin to look for higher level runes.
- If Windbreak’s 1st hit kill the enemy, the 2nd hit will target the next one. This works the same for Holy Combo.
Performance with Lucifinil:
- Lucifinil makes everything Vivian does from decent to good and from good to insane.
- Castigate can combo with all of Vivian’s skills boosting their damage by 60% of Lucifinil’s ATK.
- Angel’s Blessing can also combo with all of Vivian’s skills turning them all into a huge damage Single Target skill.
Performance with Lucifinil & Isabella:
- Benediction can greatly boost Vivian’s tanking capacity but it’s RNG to proc. If she doesn’t cast this right at the start, Vivian is destined to be melted without good gears.
- Divine Mandate is absolutely useless in early stage of the bmattle, the shield’s HP is not enough to help Vivian’s tank all the damage directed at her. At 5 stacks, it can silence enemies for 5s but only when Vivian uses her skill before the enemies. At 13 stacks however, this thing become a 2nd Angel’s Blessing on Vivian and boost her Single Target damage even further.
- Holy Echo takes really long to stacks up. When you reach Mid Stage of battle, she has only 9 stacks or so.
- Holy Echo only affects Divine Mandate but if Vivian died, this skill becomes useless since Lucifinil doesn’t attack much(2 of her skills are buff-type skill).
- Angelic Summons: a guaranteed 150% damage boost on this skill with Vivian and Lucifinil in the team with 300% base at Late Stage of battle, this skill is good at every stage of the battle. However, when she casts this, pray that your Vivian doesn’t die.
Performance with other characters:
- She can combo with Sunny’s Gift of Flame (Burn on all enemies), Pandora’s Abyss Attack (extra AoE damage) and Neo’s Transmutation (extra AoE damage).
- These can also turn into a 3 character combo.
Lucifinil
She’s a dedicated Damage Buffer and the only one in the game at the moment. Her passive gives 25% ATK boosts at 5 stacks(max) and her 2nd skill – Castigate further add in that boost 60% of her ATK.
Cons:
- She can’t do damage alone and her sole damage skill can only do 67% of her ATK in. Early Stage of battle on a single target (starting at Mid-stage of battle she begins doing 200%x2 on all enemies) which makes her not viable as a main DPS in a team.
- If the DPS die, she’ll use her skill to boost herself which only affects her Normal ATK hence it doesn’t do much damage.
- When she uses Angel’s Blessing on herself, the halos don’t seem to fly out at all.
- Her build is to make her ATK as high as possible so she can be squishy.
Performance when alone:
- Do NOT use her as a your sole DPS.
Performance with Vivian:
- See Vivian’s section.
Performance with other characters:
- She works well when paired with any good damage dealer in the game.
- She has perfect synergy with Vivian because 2 of her skills can combo with any of Vivian’s skill.
Isabella
I do not count her as healer. Her damage is ridiculous but her heal is unreliable.
She’s an offensive healer with both AoE Damage skill and Healing/Buffing/Debuffing abilities.
Cons:
Three of her skills required her allies to spam Divine-Type skill to do any real benefit for the team so she needs 2 allies that can spam Divine-Type skills in her team. Else, you can expect her doing insufficient damage or her 2nd skill doesn’t do much for a long time.
Performance when alone:
- I don’t recommend using her without any Divine-Type Heroes, Holy Echo takes too long to stack up when she’s alone.
- Angelic Summons deals tons of damage in Divine-Team. (Early Battle: 205%, Late Battle: 500%)
- Divine Mandate is a 160% of her ATK shield and silence at 5 stacks, max stacks it also does 260% to Single-Target.
- She sucks hard when there’s no Divine-Type skill user in the party.
Performance with Vivian & Lucifinil:
- See Vivian’s section.
Performance with other characters:
- I can only see her fit in a team with 2 heroes that can spam Divine-Type skill (currently there’s only Vivian and Lucifinil fit in this criteria). There’s just no other way around unless you want to use her sub-optimally.
- There are other Divine characters besides Vivian and Lucifinil but I haven’t test them out yet.
List of Divine characters:
- Vivian, Roland, Van, Lucifinil, Sandra
Theorycrafting Team:
This section is for your theorycrafted team based on their skills synergy and in-game knowledge from beta-testing.
Please include reasons why you think your team set-up will work and their strong point.(Weak point is optional)
For players who read this section: Test out the team if you can afford it, your feedbacks would be much appreciated.
Use the information below with your own risk. None of these had been tested in real battle.
Disclaimer: These teams are built based on skills synergies and my knowledge of the game hence there’ll be flaws. All skills are counted at Lvl. 1. Any feedback is appreciated.
Eliott
Sidenote: Get stepped on by Lancelot when he comes but still great.
Why is he alone?
Because he works everywhere! He’s great by himself! Better with his partner.
If you pulled him, kick Gloaming out and use him with Sunny and Vivian until you get better characters to replace those 2.
Why is he good alone?
He’s perfect!
Perfect Knight(Passive): At 3x Martial Skill stack, 450% ATK to one enemy.
Great ST-Damage Skill(Almost rival Gloaming’s at 4 Awakening stacks).
Holy Lance: AoE Damage. Every Martial stacks +80% to damage dealt.
Early-Stage of Battle: 108% of ATK.
Mid&Late-Stage of Battle: 160% of ATK.
Nothing impressive but best case scenario, he can do 400% AoE damage. RNG reliant.
If he spams this skill, he’s as good as dead.
Defensive Stance: When 1 Martial stack is present, +150% DEF. Gain 1 Martial stack(max 5), Early-Stage of Battle: +35% DEF for 5s(separated from the +150; with each Martial stacks +5%).
Mid & Late-Stage of Battle: +150% DEF for 5s.
A great meatball shield for the team, a whooping 185% DEF on first cast & 300% DEF min at Mid-Stage cast… say no more.
Steadfast Defender: For 5s, everytime Eliott takes damage he heals.(2.5s interval so max 2 times).
Early-Stage of battle: Heals 75% of ATK.
Mid & Late-Stage of Battle: Heals 200% of ATK.
Yeah… DEF up and heal… what can go wrong?
You have ⅔ chance of not dying in any battle and 1.5/3 chance of dealing good damage(why .5? Passive. I’m not good at maths so I just arbitrarily add a half into it).
Miho
Why is her everything so big?
I took a screenshot with my phone… so she’s big.(I need an excuse.)
Why is she alone?
Same reason as Eliott
And… no, I’m not biased.
Weakness: Her heals are not potent. Victora solves this problem hence why in Victoria’s Review I said always use Victoria with Miho. (Lancelot will help too with AoE Dmg Reductions from his skills)ia solves this problem hence why in Victoria’s Review I said always use Victoria with Miho. (Lancelot will help too with AoE Dmg Reductions from his skills)
Then why is she so good?
She’s magical!… I mean Musical.
Music Fairy: Tempo everytime her skill is used. At 3 stacks: 50% ATK x5 to 1 enemy.
So same as Eliott but better.
From left to right:
Heavenly Voice – Radiant Song – Azure Song
Why did I group these skills up? 75% of these skills is basically the same.
Buffs pool:
20% DEF up.
30% Dodge up.
30% Attack SPD up.
Share damage with all teammates.
Dura: 6s.
Heavenly Voice: AoE heal and grant 1 buff to 1 ally.
Early: 8% of target’s ATK for 5s.
Mid & Late: 20% of target’s ATK for 5s.
Radiant Song: Single heal and grant 2 buffs to 1 ally.
Early: 12% of target’s ATK for 5s.
Mid & Late: 24% of target’s ATK for 5s.
Azure Song: Grant 3 buffs to 1 ally.
Her heals scale on target’s ATK. This means that she’ll extremely good in a team that focus all on ATK. Like Lucifinil – Miho – Victoria/ Sandra – Miho – Victoria where her heals are used to its fullest.
Not so much on healing a tanky tank.
What’s share damage?
Your tank takes 1000 damage but now he takes 500.
Miho and the other teammate takes 250 each.
Is that a F8cking 50% damage reduction?
Yes.
And.
She heals.
And no. I’m not biased on her because she’s a cat. Or fox.
Hi
Gloaming – Sandra – Van
The Awakening
Overall note: Recommendation for this team went down due to Sandra is not free anymore & having some issue in higher quest (Until Level 11. Quest promotion when you try to clear it with your BR < BR recommended). Overall still work fine with decent gears.
The most F2P team if you happen to pull Van. Sandra is free from pre-regist, and Gloaming can be awakened to 2* when you finish chapter 1 – hard.
Can dispel 2 buffs (Gloaming’s S1) and cleanse 2 debuffs (Van’s S2) along with the potential burst heal from Sandra’s S2 and Van’s S1 hence they can be a real pain in PVP to deal with.
Gloaming has “S1-Snipe”: deals 200% of ATK at Mid-Stage of Battle + additional 300% of ATK (at 2 Awakening stacks) gives them a solid Single-Target Damage skill.
3 AoE with huge modifiers, burst heal, -15% DEF from Gเloaming, you can’t ask for more.
Found weakness:
Apparently got wrecked by Luci-Pandora-Victoria team. – contributed by Aewind#8739 B
Not reliable in higher Quest. – contributed by DCphatson#8632
Weakness analysis:
I consider Van-Sandra-Gloaming team as a Mid-Late team due to how Awakening stacks, Awakening stacks don’t go up fast and due to how squishy the backlines are, something like a “pro”-early team with strong AoE such as Pandora-Victoria-Luci could best them by AoE-ing down Sandra and Gloaming.
I don’t know the exact detail of how this battle was fought but this is my speculation; but one thing for sure, if you run into any high damage AoE mobs later in the game (a big IF), this team will meet difficulty. Uiiiiii
Sandra sometimes fail to heal apparently.
Core mechanics:
This team works on stacking Awakening Mark on Gloaming and Van as shown below.
Gloaming:
Multishot: At 4 Awakening Marks: 100% + 300% of ATK to all enemies.
Great AoE overall.
Hard to achieve 4 stacks however.
Van:
Smite: At 3 Awakening Marks(maxed on skill): 130% x3 on all enemies.
Cleansing Blade: At 3 Awakening marks(maxed on skill): 200% damage to 3 enemies. Also cleanse 2 debuffs from enemies regardless of stacks.
These modifiers speak for themselves, perhaps the team with best AoE potential in the game currently with
3 AoE skills from 2 characters.
So how do you stack Awakening Marks?
Awakening Marks: Everytime Van is endangered(HP<30%), Gloaming and Van gain 1 stack.
Stacking these stacks only made possible because of Van’s S1 (reduces 15% of his DEF also heals 25% max HP if he’s endangered while his DEF is reduced) and all of Sandra’s skills.
Katy – Sunny – Dillon
Overall note:
²²A well-balanced team with good CC, DoT, DEF buff and ATK debuff(from Katy’s cold). Sunny helps somewhat in Early-Stage of battle but this team only really shine at Late-Stage of battle.
Having 4 AoE in total but somewhat lacking in Single-Target Damage in Early-Stage of Battle. Burn stacks help with Single-Target Damage but it takes time to tick.
A somewhat hard to get for F2P players.
Core mechanics:
Burn stacking from Dilon and Sunny (they stack really fast together with Sunny’s Gift of Flame on Dillon’s Flameburst) and Katy makes use of those Burn stacks to do extra AoE damage on S1 (8 stacks of Burn) or freeze AoE with her S2 (4 stacks of Burn).
Katy’s Ice Shield on Dillon helps sustaining the team until Late-Stage of battle.
Burn: deals 50% of ATK for first 3 seconds, last 10 seconds.
Cold: ATK down 16%.
Burn stacking?
Dillon:
Flameburst: 50% chance to inflict 1 more Burn when Dillon inflicts Burn.
Fire Fist: Every stack of Burn deals 50% of Dillon’s ATK as damage for first 3 seconds.
Sunny:
Gift of Flame: Force Dillon to inflict Burn. Its damage scale on Sunny’s ATK.
With these 3 skills, you can expect enemy’s tank get roasted then frozen real fast.
I’m not sure if Dillon’s Red Aura can combo with Sunny’s Gift of Flame or not but if they do that’s an extra AoE Burn.
Honor mention to Sunny’s S3:
Heat Rune: 50% of ATK to all enemies and inflict 1 Burn. If enemy is Cold, inflict 1 more Burn.
This skill potentially allows Katy’s S2 to freeze all enemies for 3 seconds.
Honor mention to Katy’s S1:
Ice Meteor: At Late-Stage of Battle & on enemies with 8 stacks of Burn: 200% ATK + additional 500% ATK.
It’s hard(if not impossible) to have 8 stacks of Burn on all enemies so this skill is not better than Gloaming’s Multishot. However, it’s possible to have 8x Burns on enemy’s frontline making this skill great in both AoE and Single-Target(ST).
Phia – Sunny – Dillon
Overall note:
Another variant of Sunny-Dillon team, this team similar to Katy-Sunny-Dillon but with lesser DEF buff and no ATK-down/CC.
More Burn stacks with Phia’s Flame Shield and more ST-Damage with Phia’s Explosion but 2 less AoE damage skills.
Most of AoE damage comes from burn stacking on multiple enemies.
Core mechanics:
Burn stacking from Dilon and Sunny (they stack really fast together with Sunny’s Gift of Flame on Dillon’s Flameburst) and Phia uses those for her Explosion(every 2 stacks of Burn deal 80% extra damage on top of 300% ATK on Single-Target).
Phia’s Flame Shield and Crimson Fire help stacking more Burn on all enemies for AoE damage. Crimson Fire does only 10% of Phia’s ATK so AoE damage takes time for Burn to tick.
Sunny’s Heat Rune helps keeping the Burn stack going but it’s not as great as Katy-Sunny-Dillon since there’s no Cold.
With these 3 skills, you can expect enemy’s tank get roasted by Phia’s Explosion real fast.
I’m not sure if Dillon’s Red Aura can combo with Sunny’s Gift of Flame or not but if they do that’s an extra AoE Burn.
Why not Phia-Katy-Dillon?
Phia’s S2 removes all burn from enemy making Katy’s S1 less effective.
Lacking immediate AoE damage at Early-Stage of battle.(Katy is a Late-Type Hero)
Potentially allows Katy to do huge damage with her S1 to all enemies but it’s only when Phia spam 4 Crimson Fire in a row.
You’re screwed if Phia use S2 often.
Cat’s META
Current team composition is used by me and works for me.
My META.
Will update everytime I found something more effective.
Totally biased.
Use at greater risk than #Theorycrafted Team. Just this time, I’m your lab-rat.
TWO HEALERS IS THE META!!
Two healers 1 DPS might work LUL.
It’s 1 Tank- 1 DPS- 1 Healer now.
Why?
Efficient supply cost/clear time.
You will understand when you play this game.
Eliott – Tesla – Miho
Currently, I use this team. Ended combat at 80->100% every time in both Quest and PvP.
It’s the same.
Team die when characters Eliott+Tesla(Yes, my Miho did nothing wrong) think they’re pro-DPS.
Weakness: Take ridiculously long time to finish any battle, sometimes RNG just says fuck you multiple times in a row. Also, fall off at around Adventure Lv.9 at Tier 5 because mobs having more HP.
Why so great?
Eliott:
See Eliott’s section.
Tesla:
Arcane Explosion: Heal and buff Inspire for 5s on all allies.
Early: 110% heal & NATK crit rate 30% + 30% crit dmg.
Mid-Late: 250% heal & NATK crit rate 100% + 30% crit dmg.
I maxed this skill… so Early: 143% heal & Late: 325% heal on top of Miho’s 50% dmg cut and Eliott’s Defensive Wall.
Beat that.
Miho:
See Miho’s section.
Another team contributed by TenkoKuu.#1829 (<- tested by him to a certain area)
aVictoria – Miho – Sandra
A lot of damage but squishy.
(Not as squishy as Vivian as a tank. Someone killed crit mob with these girls!)
His team on quest mode.
It works when it works, don’t question it.
Team dies when Victoria dies because Sandra thinks her S3 helps a.lot.
Miho did nothing wrong.
w-…W-Why?
Miho and Curses and Blessing… and HoT… and Healing effective + 100%.
And ofc… the godforsaken 50% damage cut on tank with Miho’s shared damage.
I mention Miho twice.
Miho is everything in this team.
This will be dupped as Victoria’s Review.
Whatever you say, Victoria only go with Miho. There’s no other way around.
Victoria
First and foremost, everything about this girl is her curse.
What is curse?
Curse: Every layer of Curse does 40% of ATK for first 3s, last 10s. Everytime an allied character is healed, does extra 30% of ATK (increase with every stack). Dura: 6s.
That looks normal, just like your usual burn.
Except
Miho’s AoE heal: 5s, 1s per tick -> 5 ticks on each of 3 characters.
Sandra’s AoE heal: 3s, 1s per tick -> 3 ticks on each of 3 characters.
I am not sure if AoE heal count as 1 Curse tick or 3 Curse ticks. That’s up to you to find out but even with 1 Curse tick for AoE… this is fkn broken.
Pray to god that Van cleanse this shiet off of you.
Kaleidoscope: When an enemy is cursed, Victoria gains 1 layer of Kaleidoscope.
Remember this, this will become important later.
At 7 stack, all allies +100% increase in healing.
Mirror Realm: Reduce NATK Damage of all enemies.
Early: by 20%
Mid&Late: 40%
Look normal right? Unimpressive right? Remember when I mentioned Miho twice?
Yes -> this is applied before the damage was cut by 50%. So… Yes.
No -> God bless you.
Cursed Phantom: Attacking 1 enemy, curses 2 enemies.
Early: 20% of ATK.
Mid&Late: 50% of ATK.
This applies curse, you think this is it? Let me introduce.
Reflection: Oh the almight- (sorry I’m listening to Beautiful-Heathers jawhile writing this.)
Inflict 1 curse on all enemies, and BLESS your teammates with Reflection.
Reflection: Inflict Burn, Injury or CURSE. (sorry)
Early: Max reflection time: 1.
Mid&Late: Max reflection time: 3.
Are you perplexed now? Confused? Whatever.
If you have noticed Miho’s shared damage.
Haha. XD. Haha.
3 reflections on all enemies… x3.
Why are the numbers red?
They increase by skill level.
Max it.
Or I delete this guide.
And delete my game.
And delete myself.
Conclusion:
Switch out Sandra with any tank(Like Eliott Remember his S3? Yes.) works.
Again, Miho is G.O.D. with Victoria.
This will be dupped as Sandra’s Review.
Sandra
I know it’s not over! My hands are tired.
From left to right: Salvation – Heal – GiftofBravery – Ordeal
Why are they together?
ATKup heal heal heal.
Salvation: When an ally is at <30% HP. ATK up by 25% of Sandra’s ATK for 5s.
<Victoria is frontline. Victoria takes damage. Victoria’s HP is at 30%.>
Yes. I know.
Heal: HoT for 3s, heals every 1s. Total 3 ticks.
Early: 35% of ATK.
Mid&Late: 70% of ATK.
Self-explained.
Gift of Bravery: Bless an ally for 20s, during this time if the target’s HP falls below 30%.
Instantly restore
Instantly! – 1 tick.
Early: 10% of Max HP.
Mid&Late: 23% of Max HP.
Ordeal: Bless an ally, heal a certain % of any damage dealt. Dura: 2s.
Early: 16% of damage dealt.
Mid&Late: 48% damage dealt.
Remember Curse?
Spending Gem Guide:
No-Spender
Do NOT spend gems on anything after 800 gem pull (this only worth it right at the beginning of the game when you don’t have any 2* to work around).
Save them all for Event.
Baby-Spender
Before level 60, do NOT pay gems to refresh your quest list.
After level 60, do NOT buy quick battles with gems. Instead use gems to buy quest refreshes, because leveling 1 level will take more than 1 day. Since you will have bought the Prince Pack after hitting level 45, this daily gem quest refresh will guarantee you a purple quest.
