Panzer Waltz tier list
This tier list is subjective, based on experience on Global server.
If you are not interested in meta gaming and have no intentions on clearing raids or be competitve in PvP, dont watch this list, may cause salt,you have been warned.
ranks designations are:
S tier: The best at something, or capable of doing many roles at the same times with little to no downsides, usually considered Overpowered.
A Tier:Good choice, useful in most cases or very good in specific roles but with some downsides.
B Tier : Usable in some compositions or specific maps, many downsides.
C Tier : as popular request an extra tier have been added, reasoning will be missing as these will be usually weaker version of higher tier tanks or simply sub-optimal stats. Usable in case of high investment of tech and equips.
F Tier: meme tanks that has exceptionally bad stats, very out of meta or simply bad in most cases( excluded low rarity ones as N3 and lower) recommended to avoid these unless trolling or waifu reasons.
Note: every tank with, very few exceptions has weaknesses to some maps debuffs, such downsides will be noted only if necessary.
I will not list every tanks ingame (too many), only the notable ones, every other tank not listed can be considered C tier or lower.
Heavy Tanks
S:
-M103 HT(N5):one of the best meatshields ingame, very high stats, good resists and capable of being DPS at the same time,only downsides are the lack of internal slots and pretty bad engine
-Churblade II: similar to M103, but more prone to be dps while still be able to tank a lot with a better engine and can be used as offscout too,weakness is the chassis making her relatively weak to Kinetic ammo
-IS7:New highest armor tank ingame, very good offensive stats and hidden resists with double ricochet, downsides are, while being the most expensive tank research wise she can’t be used in desert and
has an arm growing out her neck.
A:
-Centurion Mk3: more like A+ or S- ,outclassed by is7 in terms of armor, still the better desert meatshield, but she completely lack any sort of offensive ability
-IS4/IS3/T10M: very similar, both are good snow meatshield but completely inferior to IS7 in every way, in case of T10m she has slightly better offensive capability as she has access to APDS.
-M103A2: Good overall stats and resist, usable in almost any map, but it’s very expensive to build and require very high skill level to be worth so probably A-
B:
-IS2M: used to be the best meatshield but got powercreeped very hard, still very good early to mid game but fall off very quick with skills.
-ARL44: Usable for quite long, can be useful offscout, get completely outclassed in every way by type 61 and fall off in late game.
-Kv4: Good and durable Snow forest DPS, but with almost no other uses.
-FV201: On paper she is the best Meatshield for desert maps, but there are almost no data on how good she actually is, B- at best probably.
-Conqueror: Similar to Cent mk3 but with way worse armor and bit better offensive ability with apds(HESH is totally useless)
C:

Medium Tanks
S:
-Type 61: Probably S+ or even S++, very durable and one of the best scouts ingame while still be able to deal more dmg than most dedicated scouts, give a huge advantage in clash and is very useful in many raids, only downsides are maps debuffs.
-Panther Ausf F: Best meatshield ingame period. Almost must have since she can be used in every map while still capable of doing some dmg in close range, downsides are pretty much negligible.
-Vijayanta: Very durable dps with very high stealth, long range ammo and surprising good Infantry tank .She is also very helpful in raids. Downsides are almost useless engine and weird ammo choices.
-Centurion Mk1: Similar to Vija but with a very good engine and even more durable and overall good stats all-round, quite expensive to build is probably the only downside.
A:
-Type 97 Shinhoto: Best pure scout ingame by sheer detection, she completely lack any offensive stat and die too often for the emperor.
-Bat-Chat 25T:Good dps and able to be Wet scout, but she is quite squishy and require a high level of SKills
B:
-Panther Ausf G: Pretty much the same of Panty F but with worse stats and worse engine maybe A- or B+, still very solid option.
-T34M:Very good meatshield if you want to go for Medium Armor early on, get outclassed by better meatshields.
-Sherman Firefly(Penny): Good forest dps early mid game, get outclassed by Vija and other new tanks.
-Leopard prototype (the ingame name “leopard 1 tank” is wrong):
Similar to bat-chat but with worse offensive stats and better dura, weird combination of engine and chassis make her clunky to use.
-M48A2: Overall good stats but bad resists and N6 skills make her quite average and mostly worth for Type 61.
-T62:Very similar to T10m stat wise and role, just a bit worse.
C:

Light Tanks
S:
-BT7M: probably the best dedicated scout light tank still in Meta for late game, very useful for late game raids and PvP thanks to one of the best evasion ingame, only downside RNG
-AMX 13-90:probably A+ or S-, very similar to bat-chat in roles and stats, but thanks to N5 skills she can be stronger, She need to be protected as her dura is very low
A:
-VK1602: Good solo scout with very high armor but lose to stuff like Type 61 or BT7m in terms of usefulness, still one of the few very solid choice for a dedicated LT scout.
-BT-42: great valley scout and usable in plains too, very high DPS potential with the right build and skills, probably S tier in rocky valley.
-Epsylon: Very similar role to Asu-85 as scout dps, just overall worse in any single point, even in forest where she is supposed to do better.
B:
-AMX13 Diesel: basically a forest DPS, bad at solo scout, she has a lot of competition and require high skills and equips.
-T-80: Decent Wet scout that can do some dmg, outclassed in spotting and survivability by BT7m in every map that doesn’t require wet proof engine.
-Pz38T(G)/T-60/m5a1/Locust: all solid scout for early mid game before skills, quite useless after.
-SPIC:had a really bad bad experience with her late game, and can be considered over expensive for early game, but since many people think she deserve at least to be on the list for her good engine and high spotting value.
Still all the other stats across the board are really bad for an N6 and even with 7/7 skills she is inferior to almost any n5 scout with max skill and even some n4.
-AMX 40: best meme tank EDIT: after the buff that gave her hardened armor, combined with ASS base resists, she can be more than a meme, still outclassed by most competition tho.

SPG and RPG
S:
-T-60/BM-8-24: Best overall DPS ingame, can be used in pretty much every map as main dps thanks to double chassis, High stealth and Tar and good slots, can be used in pretty much every Raid and still a very solid option for PvP.
Need a lot of investment in RP is the only downside.
-AMX Mk F3: new best HE spg for plains (powercreep) outclasses all the other N5s in term of stats , not the Best for raid due lack of Variable fire and her only weakness is Burn.
-Hummel Late( “bumble bee” is ofc a translation error): probably the best Heat dps, and a solid HE user, Called also “poor men RP” as she can cheat your way through raids like RP. Downside is that she heavily rely on skills.
-2B1 OKA: New monster and one of the few insanely strong maiden added, probably way too strong as she is more than competive with max skill N5 while being N6, higher durability than pretty much almost all N6 tanks ingame, above average Tar, only downside would be low stealth, which is however more than compensated with BEST dps stats ingame, absurd durability and very long range that reduces most of the aggro. Probably gamebreaking if Max skill N6 become a thing.
A:
-OBJ 212: double chassis and good stats make her usable in street and snow maps, equip slots are a bit weird but can be very strong, she lack tar and stealth.
-T40 WhizBang: RP and good stats+ Silent engine ,double chassis and big ammo selection make her viable in most environments, only downside is skill limit cap and she is ugly
-Crusader Spg: “Poor men susan”, she is the best non RP user for variable fire, which is the best skill for raid atm with one of the best Tar in the SPg class. Quite lackluster in PvP due to not having Frag and terrible Dura with mediocre stealth.
-M44: SImilar to Crusader SPg, she got powercreeped a bit but is still a viable option for PvP plains, thanks to her very High dmg. She has pretty bad tar and so might require very good equips.
-BM21 MRL: Similar to T60-BM but with worse skill cap slots and chassis, still one of the Best RP dps available.
-Lorraine 155 SPG: Best Hesh dps atm, very good stats and best critt rate, useful in Very late game Raids and Some PvP maps, downsides are often too much range and mediocre at best engine and chassis.
-Type 75 130mm MRL: Exactly the same chassis and engine as T60MB(Susan) But overall worse as she has N6 skills
-Sturmpanzer Bar: Very good stats, double chassis, D/S engine with decent resists make her a very decent choice. With ATG chassis and Hesh she can be used even in street maps while also being useful outside of Plains with HE. Just N6 skills dragging her down.
B:
-T92: Highest offensive stats ingame, will maybe be S Tier when more than 96 eagles will be possible to obtain, atm she is still outclassed by the other N5 spgs but not by much, major downside Tar and stealth and can be used only in Plains.
EDIT: B tier is more reasonable now that 2B1 OKA completely outclasses her in every single point at N6.
-GW Tiger 17/OBJ 262:Recently Buffed, Ok for plains(262) and Valley(GWTiger) but get outclassed by other HE or RP dps with N5 skills.
-FV304: Useful in some raids and has potential to be very good with high level skills with good ammo and chassis options.
-Wespe: Other non RP variable fire User, stats are pretty bad.
-Katyusha M13: good RP dps for early mid game and still viable as Valley scout later on.
-KFMLRS: made exclusively to make some high tier raids a lot easier for RP users
as if RP need help in raid, Still very new so she might be A tier or lower .Her pen is very low so in the current PvP meta she might struggle.
-Matilda hedgehog: RP and double chassis option make her usable in many maps, only limited by skills cap and a bit low stealth.

LAVs and Light Vehicles
S:
-Strv 74: one of the best APDS dps ingame for street maps, very high stats across the board for a Lav and great equip slots.only downside is only APDS available (not really a minus but still)
-Achilles/jackson: both are quite similar in term of stats and role, both are great Rocky street Dps and and are quite good in some other maps. Downsides are quite bad stealth, especially Achilles and both require a lot of high level rammers, making them really hard to field at full potential if you are not in the late game.
A:
-SDkFz 251/1: basically an RP SPG with LAV class, almost as good as T60-BM, probably S tier if she had a better chassis
-BTR-50PA: Best and probably only good infantry LAv worth using, great in Rocky street. She is very expensive to skills and have almost no other uses outside of street.
-FV 601(Saladin): one of the best N6 available atm, can be Scout OR Rocky street dps, useful in Rocky valley too. Very good potential with higher skill cap.
-SDKFZ 234/1: Best meatshield lav ingame, yes meatshield lav, with max skills and good equips she is by far the hardest tank to kill in rocky street, she is also very good high end raids. Downsides are very expensive to equip properly, she is basically end game material.
-Luchs: Basically an LT scout with very high eva like bt7m but with dust engine, questionable use outside of very late game commanders in niche compositions as there are cheaper options and she is outclassed in desert by Type-61 as she has no heat proof engine and the S fire resist will not save her much with such low armor if she get Hit by chemical ammo.Also her stealth and offensive abilities are less than optimal.
B:
-Sdkfz 232: worse version of 234/1, decent scout for early game if you don’t have anything better.
-Super Hellcat: Good offensive stats and slots,but very squishy and crippled by skill cap, many better options atm.
C:

ATG and Tank Destroyers
S:
-ASU-85: infamous maiden known to be completely overpowered and almost game breaking, she almost “killed” the LT class taking the role as best scout ingame while also being of the best DPS.
8 slots N6 stats with N5 skills capable of being the best Dirt street DPS or a scout/DPS for pretty much every map ingame thanks to her best Stealth combined with good tar and Wet engine.
Downsides? pretty much none, she might be not the best in every map but being of one of the few tanks that can be the best or close to the best in every terrain doesn’t need further explanation. SS++ tier
-Ho-Ri type 1(tank destroyer type or Super rebecca, yeah another mistranslation): new best forest dps thanks to Quickfire(+30% dmg) on her apcr, only outclassed in term of DMG by DPS ASU( note that ASU is not a good dps for forest but best for dirt street)
Her durability is ok. Downsides are low stealth and very low equip slots might cripple her without a dedicated team and build. Considering the ATG competition she is an S but considering all the other classes she is an probably an A.
A:
-Archer: one of the best close range dps in early game and still usable late game, only outclassed by S tier Lavs in Rocky street.
-OBJ 263: This is probably a placeholder since she is quite new, she has potential and good ammo selection, might be S tier or B, time will tell.
-SturmPanther: the only Frag user for dirt forest, her stats were always below average and very bad equip slots and with the introduction of many new stronger tanks she is probably B+ tier at best now for dirt forest dps. Need a huge investment in HESH since her HE is pretty much useless.
B:
-Jagdpanther: very similar to Sturmpanty in term of stats and slots but with different chassis and ammo, her biggest problem is that she has a lot of much stronger competition in Dirt street(powercreeped)
-Jagdtiger:good offensive and defensive stats, unfortunately she get crippled by equip slots skills and resists, she has too much stealth to be a useful -meatshield and her offensive stats are nowhere near the S tier competition, even with 10/10 N6 skills DPS ASu should be still better than her in dmg.
-Alecto MK-IV: overall similar to Archer but with worse ammo options and resists.
-FV 4004 Conway: exact same role as Cent MK1, same engine but worse slots, skill level and chassis.
C:
-Semovente90/53: personally i really wanted this to be good, but she barely made into this list, B- or C+ are probably more accurate. She has mediocre stats and scaling with a wide and weird ammo selection out of which very few ammo are good. Her engine is pretty much useless and the SPg chassis is more a downside than anything else since she need to compete with other SPG rather than ATG and in that case she lose badly if you consider her HE or Heat. Still the very good stealth and TAr make her a decent option for Street or hills if ever you might want to dump over 1300 mats to craft her.
